Ok stick with me because this review is going to sound like a lie.

To start of, this place isn't nice. The carpet is dirty, the bathroom floor has a huge stain on it, and there is this weird panel over our wall that keeps falling off to reveal some pipes. I wouldn't recommend it.

Myself and some friends went to check out the KTV on the fourth floor because we had a few hours the night we were there. We took the elevator to the fourth floor and were surprised when there were no lights on. We got out of the elevator to find that in fact there were no lights on for the entire floor. It looked straight out of a horror movie. We explored a little while using our cell phone flashlights. For the most part all of the rooms were locked except for a few. All of them had mirrors on the doors which added to the creepy-ness. Many of the unlocked rooms were filled with weird items and trash. One had a cart full of Christmas decorations. The whole place looked rather nice, but it can't have been used anytime recently. It was probably the creepiest thing I've ever seen.

In short, don't stay here.

Stayed at the Guomai Hotel in late April 2005. The Guomai Hotel is located in Huang Shan City near Huang Shan & the guidebooks rated it a 4*. In reality it is more of a 3*. The rooms were recently renovated had a paint thinner fume. The carpets were stained. Fronts a very nosy street. The receptionist was very rude. Horrible breakfast buffet. The weather was just starting to get hot, but the management would not turn on the central air conditioning even on a 95F-degree day! The room temperature at 9pm was 87F-degree with the windows open & a fan running! Overall just not up to good standard & not recommended.
