Just stayed there for a night on a business trip. Check-in takes quite some time, but good that they have some staff who speak at least basic English. Stayed at one of the rooms on what they call 'Executive floor' from 16-18th floor. As even those are pretty cheap, highly recommend to invest the money for this upgrade.

The room had a bit of a smell, which was prevalent in other areas of the hotel too, but still bearable. The carpet felt somewhat wet. Didn't feel really comfortable walking on it without socks.
Breakfast offers an ok choice for Chinese, but other than toast and fried eggs nothing for Western people that you feel like eating in the morning.
All in all ok to spend a night or two, but not a place where you would like to stay longer. Unfortunately there are no better options in Chaozhou...More
