This hotels caters for mainly Chinese customers. My travelling companion booked two rooms for two nights at very good prices, around $50 Australian per night per room.
It is a about 10 minutes by taxi from the CBD however taxi's are plentiful and cheap, There is almost a rush to have a foreigner as a customer.
The finish of the rooms are very good, high quality tiling, separate shower and toilet rooms. Large, comfortable bed (not as hard as many Chinese hotels) gave a good sleep. There is a large LCD TV with only one English language channel. A large desk area is provided for your laptop however the cable server is very slow.
For those who like something different the large shower has a clear wall through to the bedroom.
The only downside was no mini-bar fridge, no safe in room although secure facilities available at the front desk.
There can be some noise in the corridors at night as exuberant guests return to their rooms.
There is a restaurant on the second floor for breakfast, it isn't related to the hotel however is reasonably priced and good value.
This hotel (and restaurant) is recommended if you are a Mandarin speaker or travelling with Mandarin speaking friends or colleagues.
Feedback from the hotel manger was that it was a privilege to have a foreigner as a guest which brought a smile to my face.
