Stayed here for 3 nights, and although we loved Yangshuo, our time was spoilt by the accomodation. Requested non-smoking room but room, sheets and pillow smelled of cigaretes. Toilet is small and doubles for shower, so once you have showered, the floor and toilet is wet for hours. Breakfast was supposedly included, but on our first day, we were told we were not allowed to sit in the breakfast room buffet, as it was reserved for Chinese. We had to sit in the outdoor bar area. Breakfast consisted of 2 pieces of white bread, one strawberry jam sachet and a small Chinese coffee. No butter, juice or anything else. We were also told that if we wanted a fried egg, we would have to pay extra, per egg????. Water was provided for first day, but ran out. The staff promised to replace, but did not. No tv provided. No wi-fi provided. Hotel about 15-20 minute walk to town. Shuttle to and from town ok, but not reliable. If you want to order dinner, and you sit in outdoor bar (where the menu is), you have to pay extra for service??? Sleep quality was so bad we were kept up most of the nights. Slamming doors at all hours, fighting in the room next door, cars coming and going all night with alarms going off regularly, so on and on it went. On a positive note, the two girls at reception were a joy. Very helpful and friendly. They could do so much better.
