I loved this museum. I was familiar with several of the events of this time but the museum introduced me to many more that
i was unaware of. Birmingham was central to the struggle. What set it apart from the civil Rights Museum in Memphis (which is a must visit) was the number of actual articles donated to the museum. The eeriest section of the museum houses a fire-bombed bus that carried protestors.
