Stayed a night here in October 2013 while traveling through Alabama. It wasn't great, but it wasn't too bad. It was a nice place to rest and had free breakfast. Not much too the breakfast, but I am not a picky eater at all so I was able to have a few things. Rooms weren't too bad but getting a little outdated. Various restaurants and places to grab a bite in the area. Staff was very friendly and the price was right for just needing a place to rest while stopping in Birmingham.

I stopped for a last-minute stay, no reservation. Front desk clerk was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Couldn't have asked for better service.

The rooms were fairly clean. The carpet looked very dirty which took away from the cleanliness of the room! The toilet takes entirely too long to flush! Overall satisfactory but nothing over-the-top and nothing to write home about!
