I really enjoyed visiting this town. It was amazing and had some interesting shops. Granted it did come off as somewhat of a tourist atmosphere, but seeing the old buildings and bridges gave you a sense of the history behind it. Such a great selection of food to eat also. The view of Snow Mountain really adds to the enchantment. I enjoyed the local dancing in the street and you can see some authentic cultural dress among the residents. The weather was very pleasant with it getting a little cool at night. The town is simply beautiful at night with all of the buildings being outlined in gold lights and the trees illuminated to appear almost silver. Add to that all of the other colorful lights and red Chinese lanterns and it is definitely a sight to behold!
