The owners at Villa Ana were fabulous, they did everything they could to help our holiday be special. Good communication and travel advice before we left home and even collected us off the catamaran upon our arrival. We were given a little tour of the village on our way to the accommodation and shown the nearest beaches, a welcome drink was awaiting us when we arrived too.
Everything about Villa Ana was clearly explained to us (apart from food available) and they even have free WIFI throughout.
Our room was clean, tidy and practical with a lovely view over the vineyard and onwards to the sea.
We were made to feel very welcome and I would stay here again without a doubt.
The location is at the top of a steep climb from the village/beach, but it keeps you fit and the silence once your sat on the balcony makes it worth it.
There are two good beaches within five minutes walk and the town is under ten minutes away. We walked to Zlatni rat beach several times and it takes thirty-forty minutes along a pine tree lined paved walkway. There are taxi boats or a road train for a cost of 10K pp e/w.

All in all, I would like to thank everyone at Villa Ana for a wonderful and memorable holiday.

Room Tip: I think most rooms have a view of the sea.

Wow cannot reccommed this island enough, crystal clear water, beautiful harbour, lovely people.

We had 2 nights on the island staying at vila Ana, which was rustic, and we did laugh when we saw the two single beds, but we just pushed them together and got on with it. The family who run this hotel are really lovely, they let us use the phone and their laptop, and gave us lifts when we arrived and left.

The property is situated up a hill, through some lovely little streets, but wouldn't recommend it to people who have mobility problems.

Bol itself is beautiful, very picture postcard, lovely restaurants, resonably priced food, and the transport from split right through to Bol is very easy.

All of the beaches are pebble, but the walk from bol harbour out to the golden horn is gorgeous, under the trees with all of these random sculptures abd stalls selling the usual tat as well as some lovely handmade pieces. If my husband ever suggests a second honeymoon this island woukd be top of my list.

Coming off the ferry from Bol, it's a bit of a walk up(hill) to Villa Ana. Needless to say, we were a little tired when we got there, however we were quickly presented with juice & wine and helped to our apartment. They also told us that they'd tried to pick s up off the ferry but we hadn't seen them - D'OH!

The apartment was basic, but absolutely fine for what we needed. The bed comfortable, and good cooking facilities. We were on the ground floor, and had a beautiful sea view, and about a 10 metre walk to the swimming pool.

The staff were superb throughout, making breakfast just for us on a couple of mornings, and being very helpful throughout the trip. They obviously take pride in what they do. On our departure day we missed our early morning ferry, and they were quick to find the next-best course of action for us.

The only point to be aware of is that it's a fairly brisk walk up from the village - perfect for walking off all the food and wine though!

Would have happily stayed for a month - good work guys!

We arrived early on the morning having come from split on the early ferry. We walked to the apartments from the town centre which is only a 10 minute walk, although uphill. When we arrived we were told if we had called before we could have got a lift, which would have been nice had we known. We were offered some drinks when we arrived which was very welcome in the hot sun. The owners were both very nice and told us what to do in the town.

The room we booked was a twin to the rear on the ground floor. The views were lovely over the vineyards and the sea towards Hvar. We also had a table on the balcony which was particularly nice to eat our evening meal on.

We cooked the food ourselves, although dinner was served at the apartments for only 60 kuna which would have been a perfect alternative if we had not already bought food. The kitchenette was adequate for cooking and was reasonably well equipped. The bathroom was also good, although the hot water didn't get very hot.

Our room was next to the pool, which was a nice addition to the apartments. Sadly that night there was a huge thunderstorm so I really can't comment on the sleep quality in the room (we got very little but had nothing to do with the apartments!).

Overall a nice place to stay, the pool was very nice, and would have been used more had it not been raining.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights.
Our room was on the ground floor, Next to the vineyard in the back.
It was simple but clean.and it is quite a walk from town.. But pleasant.
The owners, a very warm family, made us feeling at home. They picked us up from the ferry and gave us a lift when we left (and did not accept a tip). Their home made red wine is delicious and does not cause à headache because it's a pure and natural wine.

We stayed in villa ana for 3 nights on June and had a great time. The family were really welcoming; drinks on arrival, some desert brought to our toom one evening, brought us beer and cake around the pool one day and even rang the hotel we were going to next for us.

Our room was fine but we would recommend booking one of the rooms with a balcony and view.

We even had dinner there one night- a 3 course meal which was delicious and cheaper than paid for just 1 meal on the rest of bol!

We would definitely recommend staying here.
