My husband and I stayed at Villa Andro for 4 days at the end of August and wish we could have stayed for longer.
We had booked flights to Dubrovnik and had intended to stay in the City for 7 days but after hearing glowing reports about Cavtat, we decided to spend our first 4 days in Cavtat and the last 3 in Dubrovnik. What a wonderful decision this turned out to be!
We found Villa Andro through Tripadvisor and booked several months ago by e-mail with the owner, Andrusko. From the initial booking process right through to the day Andrusko took us to the boat and waved us off when we left for Dubrovnik, he and his family could not have been more helpful and charming. The service was faultless.
Villa Andro is in one of the best locations in Cavtat - quiet with no road traffic, yet all amenities, restaurants and the beautiful bay just steps from the villa. We had a first floor spacious apartment with a balcony facing the bay. The sunsets were amazing!
Villa Andro is immaculately maintained. The gardens and terrace are very private and the fresh figs from the tree were a real treat - as was Andrusko's kumquat brandy!
We went on to have a great time in Dubrovnik Old Town but we were so glad to have had a relaxing idyllic time at the start of our holiday.
I would highly recommend Villa Andro and we will definitely return very soon.
