I stayed here recently and felt very let down with the staff, however the entertainment staff should be proud, they are overworked and are a class act, they made a great effort every day, albeit for children with families. From the beginning of the our stay at the hotel we found staff to be unhelpful and rude, and during dinner although we had half board were told by a disgruntled staff member we must pay for a drink with dinner which caused great embarrassment at dinner during a busy kitchen with onlookers, having argued with the manager about this we were told to wear a bracelet for the rest of our stay with no apology for the mistake. On top of this, when we ordered drinks, staff members were constantly overcharging us and not providing receipts. In addition, when we were checking out we were told we had an outstanding restaurant bill which was signed in a different persons name (assume another guest but not me)..again we argued this with the restaurant manager at reception and then after agreeing this was an error we were told to pay a "tourist tax" which came as a bit of a surprise as we had already paid this upfront with the holiday agency when we booked and provided proof. In summary, if you are a couple then don't stay at this hotel, its not suited for couples, my view is that this hotel's main objective is to make more money from guests with extras, (food, drinks, services) and nothing else.
For the record the all inclusive package is of very poor standard, you wouldn't find in a 3 star hotel.I will return to Cavtat, Dubrovnik but not to this hotel after a poor experience.

I stayed here with my family a couple of weeks back and I have to say, having been on a lot of holidays. This one is by far the best.
The best part about the hotel is the service and the cleanliness of the entire hotel, every member of staff is willing and enthusiastic, especially the entertainment staff which made the holiday for me, as a teenager going away with family can be boring but with the entertainment staff not a moment went by when they weren't asking u to do activities which I thought was quality and I got along with them so well and built a great relationship with certain members after spending more time with them! so I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be going back for sure!!!

Excellent holiday for families, great location. Animation team excellent at all times during the day. We had no hesitation leaving our kids with the Remy Club leaders, special mention to Valentina who always seemed to have kids hanging off her. I popped in to check on the kids several times and they were always well entertained and mixing with kids of other nationalities. During the day there's loads of activities for everyone to get involved in and the shows in the evening were great, led well by Tin and Ivan, supported by the funny new guy Krystian. They all take great pride in their work and are very professional.
The food was good with lots of variety and the local area was good to walk around including a pleasant ten minute walk into Cavtat village.
Recommend visiting Dubrovnik old town and the Montenegro Blue trip. The border is only ten mins away, right next to the airport. Kotor is an excellent medieval old town to explore.
Slight negative maybe how busy it is in the dining room so try to sit outside and as an all inclusive guest you get unlimited local drinks (ie spirits) and not what the paying guests receive.
Upon arriving the hotel looks like it has been built by the Russians in the 1980s but don't judge a book by its cover! Once inside, it's very nice and the views from the dining area and the pool are outstanding, especially at Sunset.
Overall, I cannot see how any family will be disappointed with what's on offer. If you are a couple looking for lots of peace and quiet then I wouldn't say this is the place as in the height of summer it is very, very busy.
To get the best of what's on offer I would recommend getting involved with as much of the activities as possible as the animation team will really make your holiday memorable.

What a scenic location! As a family we were used to a Euro Camp experience... But we loved the Albatros expeience. Number 1 was definitely the beautiful location. Number 2 was the reps... An absolutely talented team. Loved Anna- she should have def been the lead in the Mama Mia show! Her Dance aqua aerobics was brilliant! My partner and son loved Tin - he was an awesome professional. All reps loved their jobs and had time for everybody. Reps evening entertainment was of a very god standard. Food wax consistently good and you could tell that the chef thrived for variety. Hotel was very clean and tidy. My son is 'into filming' and loved the abandoned children's hospital and hotels along get coast. This year in Cavtat there Was a great ' Total Wipeout' floating experience which my son and partner loved. I had a go on my final day... It's much more scary than it looks! Boat trip toDubrovnik was great fun with the circular walls. Loved the snorkelling around the bay from the hotel. Lovely short walk to Cavtat. Took a day your to Montenegro. Gorgeous scenery. Loved Kotor but found main resort to be a bit scruffy. Horrible experience: when walking between the beach and a shopping centre my partner received a massive electric shock by 2 live electricity cables dangling from a building being renovated. Thankfully he was wearing trainers. His arm was singed black from his elbow to his wrist with 2 burnt puncture wounds. Health and safety....out of the arc!!! This said we enjoyed the whole holiday. Staff were excellent. Manager was approachable... my partner regularly chatted to him in the gym. Major renovations planned for next year. Both my partner and I had birthdays during our holiday... we both receive a bottle of sparkling wine and a half price massage...bliss! Book now... you won't be disappointed!

Room Tip: Block A has afternoon sun and fabulous sunsets! We were on second floor which wad high enough for fa...

We really enjoyed our week at this hotel and thought that it's location next to the beach and a short walk from Cavtat was excellent. We are perplexed by a few of the comments and found the hotel and staff to be first rate. The room we had was clean and we were looked after by the maid. Thexair conditioning worked well. We were in Block A with a side sea view, which suited us as we don't spend a lot of time in the room. It looks like this side of the hotel is the cooler side. The food was very good and there was always plenty of choice. It was very pleasant to sit outside and eat all of our meals. If you wanted a drink from 10.30 am until 6.00 pm there was bar close to the pools. The beach is pebbly and shoes need to get into he sea. Although the sunbeds around the pool are all taken by 9.30 by getting there between 8.30 and 9.00 you should be ableto get beds either in the sun or shade. Drinks at the bar in the evening could be a littleslow, due mainly to he one bar person making cocktails. The hotel could have more staff available at this time. The bar on the terrace was quicker if you wanted regualar drinks. We found no problems wih being all-inclusive. The walk to Cavtat is very pleasant with fantastic sunsets. It is worh talking to 'Big Mike' on th left whenyou get into the town. The trips he arranges are very good value for money. The ice cream shop by the 2 banks is also well worth a visit. Overall, a great holiday.

Room Tip: A block on the side with side views look to be in the shade for much of the day and are also quieter...

We stayed there for 2 weeks from 13th July.
First impressions is that the hotel is something from the communist era! It's very orange.
Rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment, in fact so is the whole hotel .
The air conditioning units are hopeless. Our room was on the first floor, & had the sun from early afternoon. The room was like an oven. Lighting was extremely poor, & the balcony dirty. Obviously not cleaned during our stay.
The restaurant was always extremely busy, & very hot. The food was ok, but the service poor. If you like laying & clearing your own tables, then you will feel at home!! Staff were disinterested , & were more interested in having a chat to each other than doing their job. Every morning we had to clear & lay our tables for breakfast or you just didn't eat.
If you are slightly late for any meal beware. They clear away very promptly, & we witnessed people being turned away because they were too late.
The pool area is very pleasant, & very clean. The walk into Cavtat is an easy 15 minutes .
The area surrounding the hotel is very quiet , with a handful of bars.
On the whole it was a restful holiday, but I would not return.
The hotel really needs to sort itself out, & dramatically improve all aspects.

We stayed here 22/7/14-1/8/14 as a 3 generation family of 6. Luckily we were upgraded from their sister hotel next door - Hotel Epidauras, which was fully booked when we arrived. The hotel was very clean, comfortable & the food good. Lovely pool & wonderful location with views of the pool, beach & bay from our balcony. Staff were helpful & smartly dressed. The activity/entertainment team were very good & worked exceptionally hard to cater for all ages. The only disappointment were the drinks. The pool bar served free soft drinks, beer & local spirits + the hot drinks machine from 10.30 until 5pm approx. Ice-cream there was only available on all-inclusive if you were "Deutch?"
I found it best to make my own coffee for breakfast in the buffet restaurant as the machine used sweetened hot milk. We were also disappointed that no cocktails were included at any time, although there was a discount at the lounge bar in the evenings for 2 hours on these. This bar was not open during the day so when we had torrential rain & thunderstorms we could not obtain drinks. We also used the boat from outside the hotel to Dubrovnik 60k return & also went by No.10 bus from Cavtat. Taxis from Dubrovnik airport all charged 100k, but we booked our return one through the hotel travel desk for a 8 seater @ 150k. Planes fly into nearby Dubrovnik airport over the hotel, but this was mainly in the lunchtime to early evening & was not a problem. Plenty of activities for those who enjoy aquarobics, water polo, keep-fit etc + free gym. Still plenty of room to swim in the large pool, which was suitable for all ages & abilities due to the graduated depth & easy wide step access. Large shallow pool for toddlers as well. Narrow stoney beach, which becomes sand about 1m into the clear water. Water sports a few yards away.

Room Tip: Rooms nearer beach for young families as outside entertainment finishes 11pm.
