Just returned from a great weeks stay . The beginning part of the week was fairly quiet no sun beds reserved at silly o’clock but the hotel got steadily busier as the week went on and sun beds were reserved very early. That said there are plenty of sun beds and parasols available. You get the parasols from over by the water sports area , however it seemed some guests couldn’t be bothered with the short walk and took others parasols when they went to lunch . Towels are available from the office by the side of reception . It’s open 09.00-11.00 and 17.00-19.00 daily. You need to leave 100 kuna deposit that you get back at the end of your stay , or when you no longer require the towel . If you enjoy the sea and have to say it was crystal clear and got warmer the week we were there be sure to take swim shoes as it’s quite pebbled and rocky when you first get in.
Food was good always lots of choice and excellent pizzas . The white wine wasn’t to my taste but the red was drinkable. For me the downside was the hot drinks which always tasted like they were loaded with sugar. My top tip would be have a black coffee from the machine and use the milk that’s available for the cereals, unfortunately this is only available at breakfast . I didn’t drink any of the soft drinks but a good thing is there is sparkling and still water available through out the day .
We had a room facing the back with no balcony . If they have rooms available you can upgrade to a sea view with balcony for £10 a day. A lot cheaper than booking in the UK but you do run the risk of them having no free rooms. The room was spotless and for the short time we spent in it was perfectly ok .
I could imagine the lounge bar would get very busy when the hotels full and there isn’t really that many seats . The balcony seating area is a great place to have a pre meal drink and watch the amazing sunsets .
The hotel is a short very pleasant walk to Cavtat mostly on the flat. You get to the old harbour first and you can either walk around the headland where you’ll find a bar on the cliff giving great views of the amazing diners or walk through the village to the new harbour . Both harbours have lots of bars and restaurants perfect for people watching .
You can catch the bus to Dubrovnik from Cavtat for 25 kuna each way or take one of the many boats from near the hotel for 100 kuna return . There is a lady selling tickets just outside the entrance to the restaurant or many others just outside the hotel . All charge the same price.
The hotel is in a beautiful location , very clean and well worth the money we paid

Well this hotel is definitely not a three star we had upgraded to a superior room it was far too small the bathroom if that’s what you call it consisted of a shower cubicle toilet and sink you could just about get one person in it.The balcony was just enough room for two chairs and a small table. We where all inclusive the food was always cold the drinks were a on the wacky side never tasted gin like they give well all the shorts were terrible,
The staff were always miserable in the restaurant I would not recommend anyone to come here

This is a big hotel, very busy with lots of comings and goings. The hotel is spotless, we had a standard back facing room, advice upgrading to enjoy wonderful views. An extremely well run hotel with pleasant and efficient staff throughout. This was an all inclusive deal, something new to us.The choice of food at all meals was extensive, bit of a canteen atmosphere but something for everyone. The hotel enjoys an enviable position on the sea front, twenty minute walk to Cavtat if you wish to catch a bus.

All in all we have had a great time here, such a beautiful location and a lovely town to be in, not far from Dubrovnik. This hotel is a good 3* but if you arrive expecting 5* you’ll be disappointed. Currently on the last day of our holiday at Epidaurus Hotel. Hotel itself is nice, standard rooms are very small, we upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony which was much nicer. All staff have been very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, thank you! Food is good, gluten free options are available if you ask for it in advance. Soft drinks are variable but coffee machine that also does hot chocolate is very good! Wine on tap in the restaurant (white and red) is also nice! Have always managed to get a sun lounger although still early in season. Plenty for kids to do and entertainment each evening. Beautiful sunsets from the seated outdoor area, near the bar in the main building. Hotel always very clean, short walk to Cavtat itself and a taxi boat leaves near to the hotel to Dubrovnik and to Lokrum Island, both of which we visited and would recommend!

Just returned home from a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The location is spot on, just outside the beautiful town of Cavtat. It takes about 10/15 minutes to walk there on the coastal path - longer if you are like us and kept taking pictures of the breathtaking views!

The hotel itself was great, our room was huge (there were 3 of us sharing) - no balcony but this didn't bother us as we didn't plan to be in the room much. All three meal were fine, plenty of choice and fresh every day.The pizza in particular was very good and stonebaked fresh :-p There's two pools, plenty of sun loungers and its right on its own private beach with a watersports vendor too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative I had was that there were no cocktails on the all inclusive.

The entertainment teams were split in to two groups - red shorts for french speaking - black shorts for English speaking........ that being said all of the members of the team made an effort to include us in everything. A special mention to Leo and Ivan who made us so welcome, your team are a credit to you and everyone is so lovely. There was plenty of different actives going on all of the time and you can join in as much or as little as you wanted. Make sure you speak to Leo and find out where the entertainment is as they have shows for french people run by their team (you can still go to the dance shows which were great fun!) and other times it was in the main lobby or often the English shows were in the sister hotel next door which you are allowed to go to.

Croatia in generally is a stunning place, I highly recommend visiting Dubrovnik and Lokum island which you can do from the hotel by taxi boat :-) I will definitely be back.
