WE stayed at Amfora in May while in Hvar for a wedding. The hotel is ok, it has very much of a resort feeling, which I don't personally enjoy. Our room was OLD, the bathroom was dark and ugly. No view at all. Considering this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our 15 day vacation in Croatia, I can also say it was by far the worst! It's also a good 15 minute walk from the ferry and the old town, so there are definitely other hotels in a better location. The big plus of Amfora is the nice terrace that overlooks the sea. The breakfast was also good, but it felt very much like being in a loud cafeteria. Also, it takes forever to get anywhere in the resort. I would never stay here again!
