the Hotel Adriana is fine if you need a conveniently located place to stay. If you're looking for luxury, it's not the place for you.
The hotel is clean but dated and rather tasteless. Someone made the surprising decision to team red carpets with pink walls and orange curtains. The lampshades in our room were held together with brown sticky tape (a new lampshade is hardly expensive to buy!).
The bathroom had a weird space-age shower cubicle with blue lights, music and a built-in telephone.
A room with a sea view seemed to be more pleasant than one without, which could have felt dingy.
The hotel was shabby and rather depressing but was not unpleasant overall. The bad thing is, I'm not sure Split has any better hotels in the same price range.
