Can't fault the wonderful staff, great rooms and beautiful breakfasts in this perfect, wonderfully preserved, chic downtown location. If you're a light sleeper or have kids be warned that the restaurant entertainment will keep you up; it's a small hotel. We also woke up to a number of church bells each night (3 nights), not the hotel's fault of course.

So I feel bad giving 4 and not 5 stars as the staff were so very lovely, but our 4 year old simply couldn't sleep through the restaurant merriment which was impossible to avoid.

We´ve been to Villa Nora Last September. I remember arriving at the Port and.... Magic !! Walking to those Hvar historic streets never felt so pleasurable! I loved the Hotel rooms and mainly the front desk staff. Super!!! I come back always and dream of the hotel locations, premisses, style and the joy of people so nice and welcoming!! i highly recommend for young people, and families well to everybody who loves traveling and feeling very confortable as if they were homey!

Room Tip: The restaurant in the evenings is a little noisy, not a big trouble for me, but if u want a very quiet room , ask a little far from their restaurant.

What a hit this place was! A small and friendly hotel that’s really a low-key upscale bed and breakfast just off the main square in the old streets of Hvar Town. The room was huge and beautiful, there was a lovely balcony with seating and all the conveniences were there. An enormous, well-equipped tiled bathroom too. Natalija couldn’t have been more willing and helpful both with check-in and suggestions. There are stairs, but she was right there offering help with the luggage. Breakfast was plentiful, with a plateful of fresh fruit, delicious bread (especially the one with the seeds), homemade preserves, yogurt and perfectly done eggs on request. In fact, Natalija suggested we take the yogurt we were too full to eat and whatever was left over for lunch! There was a little noise at night, being in the middle of town, but it pretty much quieted down when we were ready for bed, so it wasn’t a problem. It was great being right in town and in such a charming place rather than some standard hotel. We lucked out. But couldn’t help wondering what the noise level might be like in the middle of the tourist season.

Natalia and her staff were very helpful, the breakfasts were great, the location could not be better. But the room- it was so beautiful with a combination of the old walls and the modern. Natalia arranged for a massage for me with Andreas and it was excellent. The only problem was that there was a large step off the bed into the sunken living room which I missed in the middle of the night- a dim nightlight might solve that problem. And Hvar is a beautiful island.

Villa Nora is located centrally on the beautiful island of Hvar and all places of interest are within easy reach - just a few minutes walk. One does have to climb steps to reach the accommodation so if you have mobility issues, then it may not suit you.
The building itself is lovely and the rooms, generous and characterful. I had a junior suite with a very pretty balcony. A kitchen from a local restaurant backed onto this side of the building but did not cause offence with either noise or cooking smells.
Staff were friendly, could not have been more helpful and whipped up a great breakfast! Excellent value for money.
I would definitely stay here again.
