This is our third visit to lovely Hvar, and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else - the welcome, rooms and breakfast at Villa Nora are just superb. The location is perfect too, just a few steps from the main square. Many thanks again to everyone at Villa Nora for making another stay so lovely. We will be back :o)

This hotel was absolutely WONDERFUL!! The location is just a very short walk from the marina and the plaza, right in the heart of the town, yet quiet at night. Our group had three rooms and they were all just beautiful suites! The hotel is run by a family, and their service was outstanding!….if we asked for something it was done, or gotten for us, immediately. They even met us at the drop off location beyond which cars are not allowed and helped took our luggage, and took our luggage to the ferry to Split for us! Our room included a delicious and bountiful breakfast with a variety of foods placed on the table and eggs or omelette cooked to order! If you go to Hvar, don't stay anywhere but Villa Nora!!

We were really impressed by our stay at Villa Nora in Hvar. We stayed for three nights this August and the staff were incredibly helpful, meeting us at the ferry port to assist with our luggage.

The hotel is only a five minute walk from the port and it is the perfect location for exploring Hvar, tucked in a little side street surrounded by restaurants and shops. The room was huge and well-appointed and the breakfast was substantial, with both continental and cooked options available.

The only downside is that it is a very noisy spot, so if you're a very light sleeper it may not be for you, but we loved the atmosphere so much that it didn't really bother us. We would definitely stay again.

We had a pleasant stay in this well positioned set of apartments close to St Stephen's Square and host of interesting, highly acclaimed restaurants. (We recommend the relaxing tapas restaurant next to try hotel ). The biggest drawcard for us was the friendly and helpful staff. There was nothing too big or too hard to sort out and everything was done with a smile. The rooms are big and nicely decorated, though the one which we had was just above the restaurant - which was good and bad. We were entertained nightly by the very good live music, but it got progressively louder and more boisterous into the night as local Croatian music took over from the the familiar and blander English standards. Although the room is fitted with double doors, it wasn't possible to completely block out the music and merriment downstairs - which I should point out ceases promptly at midnight. If you're a light or early sleeper, ask for a room on the upper floors. If not and you are happy to go with the flow, the experience is really an added benefit. One other thing impressed us was the quality of the breakfast. There was a big spread comprising of different breads and jams, fruit salad, yogurt, cold meats and cheeses and eggs. Breakfast varied daily - which was great having just come from somewhere else where the breakfast menu was exactly the same each day. Like another reviewer in this forum, we would've rated the hotel 5 stars if not for our room's proximity to the restaurant.
