“Beautiful views from the tower”
Reviewed 22 May 2013

There isn't a lot to see at Marco Polo's house - it's a bit misleading to call it a house as you can only climb the tower and there wasn't anything else - unless we missed it! That said it must be done as the view is marvellous. I'm not great with heights but managed to climb the stairs without too much difficulty.

“Hardly worth it!”
Reviewed 22 October 2012

There's very little to see here other than the view from the top. However, the view is much better from the adjacent cathedral tower!

“Nothing to see”
Reviewed 27 September 2012

First of all, there is no absolute proof that Marco Polo was even born on Korcula.
I will leave this for the historians, BUT making 2 euros off of a handful of posters on the walls and a tower with somewhat decent views is a bit rude.
There are no artifacts of his life, no furniture, books or anything authentic - just reproductions of maps and posters.

The Cathedran I am sure has better views that Marco Polo Tower. So I would have rather done that.

“Very cool to see”
Reviewed 24 September 2012

It's really neat to see such an old house with so much history. The house itself is beautiful, and the interior as well. You don't need much time to peek in, but you definitely shouldn't miss it on a trip to Korcula!
