“Can't beat the location.”
Reviewed 7 October 2013 via mobile

Perfectly located less than a five minute walk from the park's entrance and bus stop. Basic accommodations in a tired building. Wi Fi only in lobby and breakfast room. Try for a room facing the open space in front.

Keep your expectations low - this is an outdated hotel. If you're looking for an inexpensive sleep and want to stay in the park, Hotel Bellevue is a good option. The breakfast is decent - an assortment of fruit, cereals, sandwich options and drinks. The rooms were clean and the balcony was a nice perk. I would recommend this place to anyone on a budget.

Hotel Bellevue is a functional place that worked well for one night, but I would not want to stay there for much longer. The double room was small, and the private bathroom reminded me of what I'd had on a cruise ship... really tight. The breakfast, which was included for the $90 rate was not bad. Self serve, lots of fresh coffee, juices, scrambled eggs, meats, breads, and cereals.
Best thing going for this place is its location, just steps from the park entrance. Hotel Plitvice is just across the parking lot (they're related) and has a very nice lobby and bar area that we enjoyed for coffee and dessert, and for just hanging out. Wi-fi in the public areas only, not in the rooms.

This is not a great hotel. But it is a cheap, functional hotel that gets you as close as possible to the park. The customer service here is average at best, the décor looks like it was cutting edge in 1972, and the rooms are small. However, if you are looking for a place to crash for a few hours before venturing back into the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park, this place works. Also, I must admit that I found the beds here to be surprisingly soft and comfortable. Expect to pay about 80 US$ for a double room.

Room Tip: You won't find dinner here. Check the Plitvice Hotel next door for a decent meal.

The location within the park allows you to hear the waterfalls, and more importantly, to visit the park late afternoons and early mornings outside the times used by the numerous tour groups. Ask for a room away from the parking area, with a balcony overlooking green space. The breakfast consisted of plentiful hot and cold selections. Although a bit more expensive, staying here allows you to buy a one-day pass, which the hotel extends for the duration of your stay. The dining room at Plitvice hotel next door provided reasonably priced and tasty meals.

This hotel isn't going to win any awards, but it's not trying to either! The staff are helpful and the rooms are basic but clean (and actually, the beds were pretty comfortable). They don't do dinner any more - you have to go to Hotel Plitvice to eat (basic but serviceable for food) - but breakfast is generous.

The main advantages you get from staying here are:
1 - parking for your car right near the entrance
2 - they'll extend your 1-day entrance pass for an extra day, free of charge

As the park is open from 7am - 6pm, this means you can go to the park late in the afternoon when you arrive and early the next morning, and do a lot of the popular (short) trails without the tourist groups and save the longer walks for the middle of the day when the park is very crowded. For us, this was definitely worth it and I don't think we would have enjoyed the national park as much otherwise.

Hotel Bellevue is right by the entrance of the Nationalpark. Very good location and the rooms very nice and clean. The employees very not really that nice. But it's a very good value for its price. I would definitely recommend it.
