Hi,

Thank you for your good reviews, we are very happy that you enjoyed here.
The food on breakfast is fresh every day, sometime because we have less than 10 people we don't put everything outside, but we ask anyway if a guest like something that is not out (like any type of eggs...)

Best regards

Room 207, a superior room with balcony is a delight. Large and modern, with plenty of space to get unpacked and move around. The bathroom is modern and also spacious. It is lovely to sit on the balcony overlooking the harbour and enjoying a glass of wine. We thought the noise might be a problem as mentioned before by many travelers, but we shut the window and it was quiet. Of course in September the nights are cooler and the room did not get stuffy, since there was air-conditioning. The room comes with a parking space a little bit down the road. Finding Hotel Mauro is a bit challenging. When driving in direction of the harbor, turn left at all the signs (all hotels except Hotel Mauro are on them), and follow the road along the harbor and though a gate (where you announce yourself) to a parking lot. Breakfast is included and very nice with fresh fruit, cheeses and meats and plentiful. There is lots to do in Istria, including the Hill towns (Motovun, my favorite) and Rovinj.

Room Tip: Splurge on the balcony room. It is nice sitting there and enjoying the view.

Hi,

Lots of the guests around the Hotels in Poreč complains about the loud music. Well, it's not more about the music, it's more about the young population, when they drink a little bit too much they get very HAPPY and very LOUD. And at the end of the Summer season the city organize the 24 hour Poreč fest honouring the good touristic season in Croatia, than the music is loud but it's only for 2 days, and it's almost impossible to affect it.

Great Hotel, very helpful staff, delicious breakfasts, clean, modern rooms and perfectly located in the old town in Porec. A real gem of a hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we ever visited the area again. The restaurant within the hotel is also a must.

We walked off the ferry and was delighted to turn right, walk about 50m and there was the Hotel Mauro. Was well appointed, and modern. We had a room on the side - there was an end of summer party featuring a loud live (very good) band on the night we were there, and we were concerned we would be kept wake. Need not have worried, as once we had closed our bedroom door we couldn't hear any noise at all. Only stayed one night, would have liked to have made it two, but our itinerary was fixed. Would thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful facility, polite & professional staff, attentive service, perfect location ... everything was excellent. We stayed only one night, but we are very much looking forward to coming back.

Particularly nice were the details: stylish fixtures and first-class materials all around; warm, well-designed lighting in the bedroom; a big, big shower with natural light and lots of towels, a true queen/king bed (not two beds pushed together); multi-layered curtains for controlled light or total darkness.

And, as others have mentioned, every request is answered with a smile and a cheerful, "Sure, no problem. Right away!" Wonderful town; wonderful hotel.

This hotel was a real surprise...we needed a place to stay on the way from Split to Venice and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our month in Europe.
The hotel is of the highest standard recently modernised, the staff are genuinely helpful and friendly...nothing is a problem....AND the food in the restaurant superb
Tuna carpaccio made at the table and scampi buzara...with local white wine and crepes to finish...pity it was only one night...we will be back :-)
