Great, modern hotel. Our room was basic but sufficient for us, although next time we'd maybe get a room with a balcony/sea/pool view and pay that bit extra.
It was about a 20 min walk into Porec which was very pleasant. We liked to do this in the evening after dinner and would head into Porec for a cocktail or have one on the way back at the little Jedros Bar.
We'd recommend going to Rovinj to see the pretty streets and if you are into photography you'll be in your element, like I was!
We also decided to go on the Venice trip as it was my 30th while we were out there. I'm glad we went now as the journey did go quickly. It was a hectic, long day but it's a place we both wanted to visit. We arrived back to our room to find a card, red rose and little lavender gift bag from the hotel. Such a nice touch :)
We would definately recommend Porec as a resort to visit and the Hotel Mediteran....peaceful, beautiful buildings, lovely food and cocktail bars...amazing special holiday!More
