We stayed for eight days in this beautful villa in the old town close to the harbour. With only seven rooms the hotel has a homely athmosphere, and the young staff provides an excellent and friendly service, including a gourmet breakfast that can be taken on the terrace which has a view of the harbour. We would love to come again!

We stayed here in June 2012. This beautiful little hotel, hidden away in a corner, has only 7 guest rooms. It is just a few steps away from restaurants and the marina. We paid extra for the superior room which gave us space, a wonderful bathroom, a huge bed and a view of the sea. The house has plenty of lovely antiques but is modern where it matters (bathroom, air conditioning, comfortable bed.) The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was good, served on the little terrace. We loved it here and would certainly go back.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room.

The breakfast started from 7:30. I had to leave early morning before breakfast because I had to catch a boat. On the previous night, the staff gave me a lunch box so that I could eat breakfast on boat. So appreciated.
Though external appearance was not castle, the inside was completely castle hotel.
I felt confortable with antique furniture. Staffs were very friendly and professinal. I want to stay again.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April 2012. The hotel only has a few rooms, and we were the only guests apart from another couple that stayed there.
The hotel is located in the old town of Rovinj, and it's basically an old house which had been refurbished and renovated. It feels like a real home away from home, with a lovely living room area, a nice breakfast room (one big, communal table) with sea view and wonderfully furnished rooms.
Our room was very large, and we had some sea view. Everything just felt right. We enjoyed having a drink in the evening in their living area, which really felt like being at home.
Breakfast was outstanding: a large choice of cereals, fresh (!) orange juice, cheese, ham, fish, joghurt, all sorts of warm breakfast dishes (they employ a cook for breakfast), coffee, tea, etc. etc. The reception staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We even could give our washing on a Sunday - which is unusual. We were rather sad that we had to leave after 2 nights.

Our first night in Croatia was at Villa Tuttorotto, so I wanted to wake up with a view. The superior room may be expensive for Croatia, but still much less than what we pay in California.

We arrived late, and they had waited for us. The town closes early, so we were out of luck for dinner, but our wonderful hostess brought us some snacks and a bottle of wine. After a long flight and a long drive, having the spa tub was just what we needed to relax and revive.

Our room had two big windows in the bedroom and two in the bathroom, so when we worke up, it was a gorgeous view of the harbor every where we looked. To note, it's very quiet at night, and just rolling over on one's side made the bed creak, so that's all I want to say about that

Breakfast in the morning was substantial and we loved the little deck with the view (but not as wonderful as the view from our room) I can't express how warm both the hostesses we met were and it's been several months, so unfortunately I don't remembe their names.

We loved this town, and though it is small, we toured the town by foot in the morning and then rented bikes in the afternoon, ended the evening drinking champagne along the cliff (Valentino bar... it is a MUST visit, have never been to a place quite like it, one of the most romantic spots we have ever been to...we ran up a huge tab because we didn't want to leave...were there for hours..you will love the owner)

We also loved the wine bar in the courtyard outside the hotel (Piassa Grada). Also, an amazing, friendly server... and their bruschetta like appetizers, just delcious, one of the best olive oils ever.

Our one regret...that we didn't stay three nights! Even if you can see the town in one day, it's a perfect relaxing spot. If we had had one more day, we would have explored outside the town.

Definitely would go back to this Villa, to Rovinj and Croatia!

Room Tip: We thought it was worth the extra price to get the superior room. I did't get a chance to see t...

This hotel, which is a converted house, is beautifully appointed and in an ideal location. When we entered the hotel, the woman at the front desk was ready to help us with our luggage and make us feel at home. The hotel itself is filled with the owners personal antiques and each room is beautifully decorated. The breakfast was by far the most elaborate of any that we had while on our vacation. From champagne to fine meats, it was a delight. The hotel was actually our favorite part of Rovinj, which otherwise was overly touristy.

The Villa Tuttorotto is a gem. The service is truly excellent and the rooms and common areas such as the breakfast room/ lounge/ balcony are beautifully and artfully decorated. It is tucked away in a tiny backstreet just behind the tourist information. The room had a great view of the marina. Breakfast was great as was the free drink and snacks and conversation in the lounge. My only grumble was that I had some lukewarm showers.
