“Music didn't add much; food good”
Reviewed 13 October 2013 via mobile

On Thursday evening in the season they have live music. We booked a few days before and paid a deposit. Service was good and the food good but not exceptional. The competition in Trogir keeps prices keen and quality fairly high. As others have said, might be best to avoid on Music night as it gets very busy and the singing group we saw was only average.

“Perfect for a lazy lunch”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

We stopped by chance, seeking some shade from the September sun. We had a simple meal of sardines, salad and calamari stew. Everything was freshly cooked and the house wine was extremely palatable. Service was friendly and efficient. Some of the negative comments seem to be concentrating on the wine, food and music evening which is more tourist orientated. Avoid that and enjoy the daily specials instead. You won't be disappointed.

“Great local food, and get entertainment”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

Not one of the best meals ever, but a very good meal and a real local dish. The staff of Tragos are very pleasant, informative and happy to help choose a suitable menu. The range of the menu is good and the prices are perfectly in line with other equivalent restaurants.
Where Tragos truly wins is by having a Croatian Klapa group (acapella singers) who are tremendous and provide the restaurant with a superb atmosphere. Very professional and beautiful voices, they made the restaurant a must visit location for any visitor to Trogir.

“Trogir lunch stop”
Reviewed 15 September 2013

Stopped here whilst visiting beautiful Trogir for a light lunch of sardines and calamari. Very tasty and fresh food washed down with a perfectly acceptable house white, All served in a pretty courtyard setting with friendly service - just what we needed to rest our bones, no wifi so no check-in but not the end of the world!

“pleasant with live music”
Reviewed 8 September 2013

much more welcoming than the most unfriendly Mariana restaurant a few nights earlier. The menu was the usual, so not inspiring on that front but it felt rather authentic with a group of four men singing beautifully in traditional costume and both my 8 year old son and myself enjoyed the atmosphere that this brought. Its probably worth a try, it has some nice things going for it, just don't wish for any great culinary delights but it does what it does well.
