We booked a private walking tour with an English speaking guide. While his English was good, it did require some concentration. He was extremely knowledgeable almost giving us "too much" information. We thought the tour was going to last about 90 minutes and it actually lasted just over 2 hours. We were very tired from an overnight flight from the United States and booked this tour so that we would be walking around getting fresh air instead of sleeping. We were in Trogir less than 24 hours and this was a great way to get quickly acquainted and learn more about the town. We enjoyed Trogir more than Split.

After Split, Katja arranged a great mini bus to transport all 8 to Torgir a wonderful enchanting medieval walled city. A must to close the richness of Croatia from Roman Empire to Medieval to Cold War era and recent Croatia independence.

The tour to Trogir is not a waste of time and is recommended!
In trogir they have an old city that is nioce to walk about, but the amazing thing is that the Coratians have made the effort to give you an idea of the life in the medieval ages
So, you might be greated by people with longbows and spears, you might see traditional tools or even witness a shooting game with long bows!
I recommend the place for its atmoshpere and the scenic views!

We booked the tour in travel agency Portal. Our guide Ernest was excelent! He explained us more than we expected... He introduced us history of the city in a very interesting and amusing way. He told us some historical legends of the city. He also recommended us tour to Krka waterfalls, which was the highlight of our holiday in Croatia.

So, whoever wants to visit Trogir, should do walking tour and visit Krka waterfalls with Portal agency! .

We drove from Split for the day and went to the Tourist Information Agency next to the cathedral for advice on what to do. We asked about walking tours and Marsha, the young lady who was helping us told us she was a guide and for 150kn she would take us on a one and a half hour tour of the city. Wow! She was fantastic. She was passionate about Trogir and really knew her history. She was very happy to answer any questions we had and went well over the allotted one and a half hours. Highly recommended. She is a great ambassador for Trogir
