We spent 3 nights at this hotel organized through a tour we took in Croatia. This is a small hotel well located to all the sites in this small town. The ambience is 'Old World' with antique furniture, lacy curtains and doilies everywhere. The rooms were comfortable and otherwise quite modern. Our room had a shower stall that looked quite new and had so many buttons and nozzles that I didn't know how to use all the features! The air conditioner worked well although I suspect that the max cool is preset centrally (an issue we found with all the hotels we visited in eastern Europe). The breakfast was included and was excellent. We were pleased with our accommodations and enjoyed our stay and would have no reason not to recommend this place to fellow travellers.

My husband, his family and I were in Trogir for our last night in Croatia and had dinner here. What a great way to end the trip! We had all fish dishes and they were great! WE enjoyed looking at the cook while grilling our fish, which he did perfectly. They had a good selection of different types, which was nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodate all our requests. WE also had the octopus salad and the arugula salad as appetizers, and they were both good, although the highlight of the dinner was obviously the grilled fish. I'd definitely have dinner here again if back in Trogir.

This was the first hotel we stayed in on our Croatian holiday - it also being our first time ever in Croatia, and wow, what a way to welcome us to this beautiful country.

The hotel was comfortable and homely - with a bottle of braske(I think this is what it was called! Croatian schnapps) to help yourself to on the table!

We slept so well and were so charmed by the hotel and its lovely staff.

Breakfast was lovely next to the river.

The room was exquisite with a great view. We stayed there for two nights and loved it.

The breakfast, however, while visually appealing, was quite a disappointment. Coffee/Cappucino et al came out of one of those multiple choice self serve machines. Very lacking in quality. Rest of breakfast was mediocre. You can order eggs to your preference, but they do not tell you that.

The hotel staff was very pleasant.

Overall we recommend - only the breakfast was disappointing.

The room was small but clean and the beds were comfortable. Lighting was dim even with all of the lights turned on, not so good for reading. I had to move the very heavy old fashioned bed out from the wall to get to an outlet for charging things. The staff was very friendly and answered my questions about getting a taxi to the airport, maps, etc. with a smile. They even made photocopies for our group and didn't charge anything! Wifi worked well in our room. Easy access to every place on the small island and just a 2 minute walk across the footbridge to the huge market.

Judging by the other reviews, there are definitely different categories of rooms here. Our room was very nice and surprisingly spacious, with plenty of room around the bed, a generous bathroom, plus an additional seating area. The decor was above and beyond what you usually find in a hotel too. The funky showers with their variety of sprays are novel, but not entirely intuitive to use, and the music player in ours was on the fritz. The hotel location is great for visiting Trogir's old town, which is just a very short walk away. The hotel staff we encountered were all friendly. I will agree with others who've said the restaurant food here is underwhelming. Edible, but utterly forgettable. But overall this was a nice place to stay.
