Can't miss it once you cross the bridge. An entry to the many little cafes and restaurants, souvenir shops, narrow streets, and beautiful landmarks. You can also climb to the top of the gate for a bit of a bird's eye view.

Just an old gate, but one of the few places where you can climb the stairs and look at the traffic. (not much to see, but nice exercise :-)

you know its special as you pass through the archway and see all the little shops and houses tightly packed within the walls. i love the caper bushes growing through cracks and the calm atmosphere. The people of Trogir are so polite and pleasant its a joy to wander around.

The north gate is a portal back in time to a a small Rennaisance town that once was an Italian outpost. The town is quaint, the shopping is reasonable, and the people are friendly. By the way, the food is quite good too!

The North (Land) Gate to Trogir is more or less opposite the bridge from the bus station and the mainland. A Renaissance structure, the cornice supports a carving of the Lion of St Mark and above that, a statue representing one of the patron saints of the town, St Ivan. It appears that the gateway once had a drawbridge and you can see the grooves where this was.
