I was in Trogir for 3 days and 2 nights and i can say that Hotel Tragos really helped me enjoy my stay in this beautiful city. On top of offering a nice rooms and complete breakfast the very friendly staff was there to help you enjoy the city by advising me what to see and proposing me some nice excursions. Well i give them a 5 star review because they deserve it.

This is a beautiful hidden gem in the middle of the old town of Trogir. The staff is wonderfully friendly. Unique property that used to be a baroque palace. Restaurant is great, every thursday a capella singers. Excellent choice of half board menu. Breakfast, of your choice. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Room Tip: ask for 5 course menu in the restaurant

I stayed here in May as part of the Dubrovnik and Dalmatian Coast Exodus trip. The rooms are spacious and clean and I felt like I was stepping back in time. The staff are friendly and the breakfast was adequate. We also had a very pleasant evening meal in the outdoor seating area. The hotel is in a great location for accessing the sight-seeing. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the hotel which was a shame and I would certainly advise taking a travel kettle.

This is not an easy place to get to but once you are there, it is worth the extra effort. The location for exploring Trogir is premier and the setting is charming.

The rooms are small which is expected in this type of property but comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet was good. We opted for dinner at their restaurant and it was very good.

When you are arriving, drop your luggage off at the main gate to the city and park your car just down from the main gate. You can then find the hotel and they will inform you as to where to park. The lot is back across the bridge and they will provide you with a parking card so the parking is free. It's a bit confusing but it all works out!

We would definitely choose this property again!

Just returned from a weeks stay in the Hotel Tragos which was once a former baroque palace. As previously mentioned by other reviewers, the staff at this hotel are friendly and helpful which made our stay very pleasurable. The rooms were comfortable with modern air conditioning and were kept very clean. Our room was on the first floor (102) and was of a good size with cable television giving access to a number of English news channels (there are no English newspapers available in Trogir). The food was of a very good standard in the hotel and we ate there every evening. If you are looking for a hotel with balcony and sea view then this hotel is not for you but if you are wanting to soak up the atmosphere in a very historic town then I would not hesitate to recommend Trogir and the Hotel Tragos.

Room Tip: Room 102 was very quiet on an evening once the restaurants closed about midnight.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 days in May and found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. We stayed half board, which we now regret as there were many restaurants around the town that we would have to have tried.
The staff couldn't do enough for you.
The lovely lady who arranged breakfast every morning, we think her name is Vana, was charming. She made us scrambled eggs most mornings. The waiters in the evening were very professional but also friendly. Boris was always there when you needed him and was very helpful in arranging the return of my jacket when I left it in the hotel on the day of our departure.
Jerko collected us from and returned us to the airport and helped with the luggage.
The Tragos is in a lovely position within Trogir and the rooms are of a good size. Towels are changed every day and the rooms are kept very clean.

Room Tip: We were in rooms on the 2nd floor.

Two weeks ago I visited Trogir a small beautiful town on the Croatian coast wich make part of UNESCO World Heritage List. Historical city core includes Cathedral, several churches and lots of buildings from 13th century. I spent in Trogir 3 days, in Tragos hotel, situated in a very center just a min walking from the Cathedral. I enjoyed stay in this small, family-owned medieval house because of a pleasant atmosphere and nice interior. Everything was very clean. Entire staff was helpful, friendly and supportive in any time and made us feel like family. Amazing host! I enjoyed very much to have a breakfast in outside part of the hotel's restaurant. Food was very good. Definitely for recommend, great value for money.

Room Tip: The name of my room was 'Kornati' and it was very comfortable.
