“Very good new hotel, still getting organized”
Reviewed 18 February 2012

This is a hotel established within the past few months, located directly across the street from the first-class Hotel Oro Verde. Very helpful staff, clean hotel. A lot of quirky art is on display through out the hotel. Some of the small things still being sorted out....the instructions for the in-room safe were incorrect and the first room that I was given had a minor flood in the bathroom. But the second room was fine, and a helpful staff member showed me how to work the safe. The breakfast was satisfactory. If you want to go first class and pay almost twice as much, stay at the Oro Verde. But if not, the Galeria de Arte Man-Ging is for you. You can still go across the street and have a drink and dinner at the classy Oro Verde.

Room Tip: A room on an upper floor to avoid street noise.

This hotel is brand new, literally, i think they've been open for a month or so, the price was pretty good for what you get and I found that the service and food was great. Location wise it's on the 9 de octubre avenue close to everything in downtown and overall I felt safe when going outside. It's on the regenerated area of the city and right across from the Us Embassy.

Rooms are spacious and filled with art work which I havent really found at any other hotels i've been to.

Overall it was a great experience and I totally recommended, If i go back I'll definetly go back.

Room Tip: Corner suites are large and have a great view of the main street.

This hotel is only two weeks only when I stayed there. It's situated opposite to the very well know Hotel Oro Verde and the American Embassy. As it is so new, there was no reviews from anyone on any site so I wasn't sure what to expect. When I arrived I was relieved to see a spanking new modern boutique hotel. Staff were extremely polite and friendly. I got checked in and given a welcome drink voucher. The room was spaciouly and nicely decorated. The location is a few further from most of the hotel situated near the Malecon 2000, however, because of this, it is so much quieter. It only takes like 15 minutes to walk to the Malecon or taxi is plentiful and cheap. Just a couple of bucks! I will certainly return again if ever I go back to Guayaquil.
