It has been my second visit to Hacienda Pinsaqui and it was just as excellent as my first one a few years ago.
This Hacienda has used old to create a tranquil and unique atmosphere. I felt extremely privileged to stay in this amazing site. It is still a " hosteria " and certainly not a budget option and understandable it raises once expectations. All the meals are freshly prepared and there is always a choice of 2-3 different dishes, in a ecuadorian menu. The food is delicious and high quality. Served by friendly highly professional staff and especially to the personalized service of a distinguished young manager of food and beverage who was always with us. Walks in the area along the stream and the horse riding were a highlight, as were the fireplaces in every room (including our bathroom) kept well stoked by discreet housekeeping.
Comfy warm beds, real pillows (a rarity in South America it seems) and stunning location with views of the amazing imbabura and cotacachi mountains.
This has to be the best Hacienda in Ecuador... the staff made us feel very welcome. Stay here you won't want to leave.More
