This place is probably insanely expensive by Ecuadorean standards--you can get a four-course lunch in some places for less than a coffee here--but, if you're from a place where good coffee is the norm, the sound of the espresso machine alone is enough to make you rationalize the cost of an iced espresso. The employees are friendly and speak some English. They directed us to the Plaza de Ponchos, which we somehow missed the first time.
