Whenever we pass through Riobamba on road trips from our home in Cuenca, we plan to stop at El Delirio. The setting in an historic home is fun and enlightening in itself; the comida tipica we've had has been quite good; and the service has been as well. We especially love El Delirio's aji (the condiment offered by most restaurants in Ecuador), the best we've ever tasted. To El Deliro's vast credit, they gave us a pint to take home with us, which we've been carefully doling out ever since!
