This is the only hotel in Egypt that I would actually like to come back sometime. The accomodations are not luxurious, but they are SUPER clean. The service is very welcoming, a big change to most places in Egypt. The owner and personnel make you feel at home, and the food was delicious. (also a big change to most other places)
I would reccommend this hotel for some relaxing days in the desert.
We stayed here after a night camping in the White Desert and sand boarding. It was clean and comfortable and the manager and staff were kind and helpful. The food was fantastic! We got upgraded to the suites which were very nice, although the mattresses and pillows were very hard ... I have never seen this type of mattress; however, I slept very sound so maybe they know something we don't! The pool was under construction when we were there which would have made the stay perfect!
As a regular visitor to Baharia oasis and the Western desert, this hotel was recommended by an Egyptian friend. I was wary at first as it is more expensive than the average hotels in Bawiti.... But let me assure you it is well worth every cent. No other hotel in the Oasis even comes close .
The staff are extremely helpful without being overbearing- a common problem in Egypt.
The food was excellent, and as two of our party had special dietary needs, the hotel manager went out of his way to accomadate there needs.
The rooms are amazing as well as the general architecture of the hotel, which lies in the middle of fruit orchirds..... Oh yes and an onsite natural hot spring.
Our stay here was too short, but long enough to get a good impression. My travelcompanions living in Cairo returned there for the holidays. Loved the architecture of the place, the fruitorchard and the plans for community involvement. Contact the manager ahead of planning your trip. He is knowledgeable and will give you tips on where and how when going into the White desert.

The hotel is located conveniently near the centre of the Bahariya oasis.
The hotel is a quiet and peaceful, rustic, holiday resort.
Unfortunately, the place was empty of guest during our stay. The staff on hand are helpful and sincere. Dinner menu was what we desired since we were the only patrons.
We were upgraded to a suite which, in summer, I am sure is fantastic and cool with its vaulted ceiling, but in winter was a bit too cold, and no heating.
Each room is done up in a theme of a different country. Ours was Egypt with photos of King Farouk, a fez, an antique radio, and a old 4-poster brass bed.
The baclony affords a nice view of the surrounding desert scape, and the orchards that belong to the hotel.
If you have time, walk through the orange orchards on the property.
The place also has a small bar serving alcoholic nourishments, and a lounge equipped with board games and playing cards.
Overall, the place is thoughtfully furnished with attention to detail.
Food is simple.
Excellent place to stay if your looking for a relaxed and simple place where the kids can be carefree and you can relax. We did it for 3 nights and managed one night to the white desert. It was perfect (got the comfort but also got to camp for 1 night and see the white desert). The food is good, the place is great for kids, and the service is great. I would definitely go again!
