Just returned from a 10 day stay at this lovely hotel. Booked last minute, so got a very good deal - as anyone can. It was clear from the website, Trip Advisor and general research comments that Jaz Mirabel Club was closed and we would be upgraded, which we were to Jaz Mirabel Park and a larger family room overlooking the pool. I dont feel it necessary to write War and Peace but from the minute we arrived we were looked after with a smile. Its not 5 star but for Egypt (having stayed at several previous hotels) its probably the best you will find and definitely getting near to it. The rooms are clean, spacious and have cable tv (if you want it, free movie channels etc), free air conditioning and kept spotlessly clean daily. The food is more than adequate and plenty of choice for any palate as well as being immaculately clean with antibacterial gel dispensers for all to use. Great service and clean white linen with silver cutlery. The snack bar is great and serves toasted sandwiches, burgers, cheesy chips, salads and apple pie and ice cream if you are peckish inbetween meals. The Animation team are very friendly and great fun. Yes, you get a little hassle to go on trips etc but the minute you say no thank you thay smile and politely move on (who can blame them for trying?!). Yes, the staff try to be very helpful and friendly in order to get a tip, dont hotel staff all over the world do that? All in all a very, very good hotel with everything you could want for a relaxing sunshine holiday. We had no tummy problems whatsoever and would say the people who did, probably had too much sun, too many cocktails and were greedy with food and drinks. For the critics - if you want 5/6* best you go to the Burg Al Arab in Dubai, where you will probably pay per night what you paid for the whole holiday! Well done all at Jaz Mirabel.
