We have just had a lovely week at the jaz mirabel park although we booked the club and were upgraded due to refurbishment, the rooms are a nice size and are cleaned every day with nice towel shapes on your bed there's also mini fridge in your room but you have to pay if you use anything, the food in the dining room was lovely always a good choice both for lunch and evening meal but if you don't want to go to the dining room the snack bar at the pool was just as nice serving. Burgers a pizza etc the staff at this hotel are great and will do anything for you especially George and des who served us numerous drinks at night, please go and enjoy yourself at this hotel if you fancy a. Change of scenery there are plenty of shops across the road selling all the usual holiday souvenirs but don't forget to haggle with them for a good price there's also a nice English pub called the three crowns we had a fillet steak in there one night and it was bloody gorgeous , I will be booking this hotel again for my winter holiday

Stayed here first two weeks in november after originally booking the Jaz Mirabel Club which is actually closed at the moment,so was upgraded to the Park.
Hotel nice, staff friendly and helpful, food was good and the room was excellent with a nice view of the pool.Plenty of sunbeds around all of the pools and also on the beach and a nice footpath along the beach for leisurely walks.Entertainment in the evening was pretty good for Egypt but is repeated each week.
Would have no problem staying here again for a relaxing holiday in the sun and it is much quieter than Naama Bay although you can visit there on the hotel shuttle bus.
Had a great two weeks and there is no reason not to visit Sharm El Sheikh as there are no problems there at all.
Thanks to all at the Jaz Mirabel Park.

Room Tip: All rooms seem to have a pool view.

This is our 3rd visit and was not disappointed and neither were our friends who was visiting for the first time. The park pool bar was excellently managed by Mahmoud who remembered us from our first and second visit. We tried all three a la carte restaurants ( £10 per person per restaurant ) well worth paying the extra and again we wasn't disappointed, great service, great food. Reception and bar staff at the park were professional and helpful can not fault anything. Yasser the general manager of entertainments made our stay enjoyable too and made sure we were happy with everything also. If we return to Egypt next year this will be the hotel we will happily visit again.

Room Tip: We didn't email in advance on any of our trips but was happy each time with our rooms.

Visited with my girlfriend for 1 week in November. When we arrived we were greeted with a cocktail which was a nice touch. We were showed to our room (thought we could have been taken to the room seeing as the hotel is so big) and found the room to be perfect. Bigger than I expected. Family room, nice bathroom, 4 beds and a balcony with lovely view of the pool.

Food was excellent with different choices everyday we were there. Breakfast was pretty much the same but lunch and dinner were very good. Pasta station was nice and they had a station where they made different hot fresh food everyday. The dessert choice was big too.
Staff were friendly in the hotel. I did find the staff selling scuba trips and dives were quite annoying when constantly asking if your interested in a trip. They eventually left us alone after a few days but still said hello. Also I think tipping the staff early on is an advantage, although we didn't tip so much so the staff weren't so chatty with us as with other guests.

The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent. The pools are the cleanest I think I have seen. And our room was cleaned very nicely, with different towel art every day which was nice. The good thing about the hotel is that you can use the Beach resort pools too, and the beach itself is nice but would be better if the jetty was finished.
The weather was excellent in the middle of November but be prepared for mosquitoes, saw plenty of people with lots of bites on their legs.
I wouldn't hesitate coming back to this hotel, it is a very good hotel and hope to return next year.

The hotel is very friendly, with mainly British clients, which made it for us really. You were able to meet people and chat every day without being intrusive.
The staff were in the main good, the exception being some at reception, who were not so helpful. They were only interested in having you give them English notes for pound coins, which we were warned about because some are fake coins. Yet when you ask to change large denominations which you have to get from an ATM outside, for small Egyptian notes to enable you to tip in their own currency, the answer is always 'no'.
On arrival at approx 9pm, we were informed that the Beach hotel next door would provide us with a late arrivals evening meal, but at any other time we could only use that hotel if they were showing football in one bar. Strange, as they are both Jaz Mirabel resorts. You could also use their beach bar during the day.
We were not shown to our room, we had to find it by asking various people and it was dark so couldn't find the way very easily. However, eventually we found it and waited a few minutes for our luggage to arrive. We then went to the Beach hotel next door, only to be told that we were a few minutes early for the meal and to go to the Oriental bar for a drink whilst we waited.
We had our wristbands on, so ordered two drinks. The barman poured one, then halfway through pouring the second one, noticed our wrist bands. He then refused to serve us our drinks unless we PAID for them!! Of course we refused, so he threw the drinks away. Nice customer relations eh?
The meal was very poor and no beer or wine were allowed to have with it. I was absolutely livid. We'd paid for fourteen nights A/I not thirteen. We returned to our hotel bar and thought we'd have just a nightcap before retiring to our room. I asked for a Gin and Tonic, which came back with no ice or slice of lemon. I asked for ice and they had run out. This happened a few more times at night through the holiday. Not really good enough. Who want a warm, sweet cocktail or a warm G&T?
I complained to reception about the drink situation at the Beach hotel, after all they sent us over there, and to our Thompsons Rep next morning. I never had any feeback from either. Unacceptable.
All that apart though, the rest of our holiday was thoroughly enjoyable and believe it or not, we would probably go again, but possibly to the Beach Hotel rather than the Park or Club.
Our room was on the ground floor near the main pool, but it never saw the light of day, neither morning or afternoon. It was always very dim/dark inside, even though I had emailed in advance and asked for a sun facing room, as we like to sit and have a coffee on our terrace/balcony. The receptionist told me when we arrived that it was a sunny room. Clearly they tell lies. The room had complimentary soft drinks on arrival and had tea/coffee making which was nice, and a safe. Bottled water was provided too.
Food was quite nice most evenings, but didn't like the thick tumblers in which they served wine.
The evening entertainment was quite good, particularly the two Cuban singers who were brilliant, and the terrace where this took place was nice too.
Just be aware that if you suffer with mobility problems that this isn't a good choice of hotel, as there are so many steps everywhere, and no lifts.
The Activity Team are lovely and friendly around the pools but unfortuantely you have to reserve sunbeds or tip the pool/towel staff to do so for you if you have a favourite spot.
I don't agree with the policy of allowing touts from outside the hotel come in and walk around the pool trying to sell trips and beauty services. I thought I'd agreed for a pedicure at the spa, but it was in a hairdressers outside the hotel she took me and another tourist to. We had to laugh really, it was so unexpected when she took us on a march to the shop.
Overall though, as I stated earlier we did enjoy our holiday and felt it was value for money. The hotel is definately not 5* though and with the Club Hotel being closed, you would have thought the staff from there would have improved service. The waiters were running around all night, but there were never enough of them.
If you have a later flight home, be aware they don't provide a courtesy room for guests to use, or allow you to keep yours after 12noon unless you pay for it.

Room Tip: If you can, try to get a room on the right of the pool as those on the left never see the sun. Ther...

Just spent a week at this hotel, got a good price so didnt expect a lot. Pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. All the staff from reception to bar staff and room cleaners to toilet cleaners could not have been more helpful, polite and hard working. The food was of a very good standard and plenty of choice and the catering staff were always checking and replenishing the food.the waiting staff at he pool bar were especially attentive making sure drinks were plentiful.
