2nd time to the Park and once again not disappointed. From start to finish it was as good if not better than the first time. From reception to house keeping and never forgetting the Star of the hotel Donawilla what a diamond and pure credit to the hotel. I returned at the same time of year for 10 days and knew that if I needed anything if the staff at this hotel could do it they will. I will be returning again next year after staying at numerous hotels in Sharm.I would like to call the Jaz Mirabel Park my holiday Home. The weather was lovely, it did turn chilly after the first week. So we will go earlier nect year. I can't really complain about anything and as much as this is my opinion. If you try the mirabel park you will not be disappointed. With 3 hotel's you have they luxury of using most facilities at all hotels. Local shops on and off site. Brach location. Evening entertainment , you can all find something to eat and the best kids club whether you want to stay or leave the little ones Donawilla was so atentive and took notice of each individual child. Thank you for another wonderful holiday.

just spent a week at the Mirabel park, couldn't of asked for more the staff were very helpful looked after us really well Ahmed in the restaurant was great a very nice young man and the bar staff both at the pool bar and the main bar were great after a day they knew what drinks we had. The room was huge, great bathroom with a walk in shower, it was cleaned every day with fresh towels couldn't of asked for any more. Food was very good too plenty of choice. Pools very good didn't have any problem getting a sun bed, one thing if you don't want to get hassle from the news paper man or the dive people take your "do not disturb " sign from your room put it next to your sunbed and they will leave you alone. You got beach towel cards which you can exchange for towels every day. Entertainment staff were very friendly and if you didn't want to join in they left you alone. If you go all AI then I would recommend a visit too one of the themed restaurants they have we went to the middle eastern one a very nice meal one visit is included in your stay. All in all a very good holiday with great staff looking after you we will go back again, thank you all at the jaz Mirabel park.

Ok, so as usual we researched this hotel and the prices on here, with comparison sites and the norm, and after we had booked we had a few concerns as you do when you see reviews slating the place and saying to avoid it.... Having booked with Easy jet, we got this hotel for a song.... through the likes of TC and Thomson it would have cost more than double what we paid, so you should defo look at using Easy jet.... it was hassle free check in, 20kgs per person of checked in luggage, plus unlimited weight but only one piece of hand luggage that fits into the little metal thingy.... but to be honest those small cabin cases are perfect and they easily pass the test!! So once checked in, flew from Stansted where you can now also take onto the plane one carrier bag, so all the duty free, snacks etc can be in there!!! We only went for one week, but with this luggage allowance we could easily have stayed for 3!!!!
On arrival at Sharm airport we had booked a private taxi transfer for £18, absolutely worth the money. was with A2B travel, and totally brilliant, from landing to getting into our room it was 40 minutes!!!!
The hotel, well where to start, am not going to write a sage, but just to say that we had booked the club, but had been put into the park as the club was closed for refurb I think.... anyway... reception.... brilliant, check in .... brilliant.... the room, amazing.... clean, roomy, airy, pool view, mini fridge, kettle, soft drinks, tea and coffee.... my only warning is to say that if you drink from the mini bar before you read the stuff they give you... it's not free!!! We ended up paying for 2 soft drinks as they were from the fridge, but other than that we stuck to the bottles and the bars!!! The safe works, and the cleaning staff with their towel art were great. It was my partners birthday an he had a cake brought to the room on the day!!!
The restaurants were fantastic, always something to eat, and drink, and the food was always hot... no matter what time we went there was choice and what was cooked was edible and hot.... the snack bars cooked to order and were great too. The bars were clean and you could find something to drink.
The pools were clean, and tidy, plenty of beds and clean towels, the water in the pool was FREEZING, but quite nice after about 5 minutes!! The beach was lovely too.... clean, you didn't get hassled unless you indicated that you wanted to buy something or take a photo of the camels!!! The security staff were very vigilant so no dramas as described with things being stolen or tampered with.
The only down side if you can call it that was how much hassle we got when we left the complex to have a look around Nabq bay.... We only went for a walk and got talked into " please just come in and get my business card.... and what can you buy" a few times, but in the end we got quite firm and either ignored people or just firmly told them no.... It was horrible as we got cornered into going in as we are both quite nice and generous people but after spending £20 on a painting we didn't want as the man had written our names in Arabic on it we kind of toughened up a bit!!! If you do want any really nice paintings at a really good price go and see John Sharm who is near the Regency Plaza hotel, on the same side of the road as the Mirabel hotels.... he is lovely, has some amazing paintings that give a different painting when the lights are off, and was just genuinely a nice fella!!!
So all in all, if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, easy going holiday for some winter sun, ( or in the summer if you can stand the heat.... it was 40 degrees in Nov/ December!!) and you don't mind furniture that is a little dated, but actually is comfortable, works and does all that you need it too, then I would highly recommend this complex. Of the three, I think the park is the middle sized one, and the entertainment team were great as they left you alone, but always asked if you wanted to join in.... The beach was a much bigger hotel that we walked through a few times to go to the beach and down to the shops.... it was lovely, but the park was perfect for us... Not far to the pool or restaurant, and quiet enough to be able to sit and eat wherever and whenever we wanted to.
We did take our thermo mugs with us and some of the bar staff did have a bit of an issue with filling them for us, but when they saw that we only went to the bar a few times each day, they did fill them... the guys at the beach didn't have a problem with them!!!
If there is anything you want to know then feel free to email me, am happy to give you my honest opinion!!! But we would happily go back again, and my neighbour is already booked in for next year!!!

Room Tip: I think all the rooms pretty much had a pool view, if you want a beach view, book the beach hotel, n...

We traveled as a couple in Dec'13 for 1 week all inclusive

I will start by saying we both enjoyed our holiday at the Jaz Mirabel Park hotel. We actually originally booked the Mirabel Club but the hotel was shut when we arrived and we were upgraded to the Mirabel Park.

Upon arrival on our transfer, our luggage was collected by the concierge and taken to our room. The reception staff were always friendly and approachable. The only time they couldnt help was when we asked to break a 100LE note into smaller notes for tips. They apparently never help in this situation.

Our room consisted of a king bed with a flat screen tv that had 5 english channels, mini bar and balcony. There was a walk through bed room with a table, two single beds and cupboard space with a built in safe. The positves for the room were the comfy beds, fox movie channels for when the you wanted to chill in your room and the great room service. The negatives were the red ants on the balcony and the fact the walls seemed hollow. The room wasnt well sound proofed, we could hear a children running around the room next door and the group of friends above. Also on nights that live music was at the bar, it was as clear in the room!

The pool area was nice, we had no problems getting sunbeds, The entertainment staff seemed like nice people and put on water polo and darts games daily. You do get hassled by an external company running dive courses and spa treatments which didnt seem fair on the guests, though they did take no for an answer. The pool snack bar had some decent food and drinks on offer. They had waiter service which takes drinks orders from your sunbeds. The waiters were very good. You were given beach towel cards on arrival which you could exchange daily for fresh towels.

The main buffet restaurant had a good selection of food, but did cater heavily for the russian guests. Though there were english and mexican theme nights. Breakfasts were good with fresh omelettes and pancakes available. The chef who works behind the grill is fantastic. Though obviously being a muslim country, pork isnt available.Again the waiters provided a good service. personally we found the restaurant a bit boring after a few days but that was more likely us than the restaurant.

The hotel entertainment isn't great, There is always something happening each night. Karaoke and club singers just aren't entertainment for me. That's just a personal choice. There was a quiz, bingo and dancing some evenings.

The location is ok, you have to walk through the Mirabel beach to get to the beach area. There are a few shops within the complex grounds, however there are shops outside the hotel. Also a decent mini market where you can shop hassle free! A short taxi ride or (10-15 min walk) brings you to the centre of nabq bay. Its not huge but there are loads more shops (be prepared to haggle), KFC, Mcdonalds, burger king, starbucks and a hard rock cafe. There are not any local restaurants or locally owned restaurants which is a shame.

We booked 3 excursions. The city tour and the quad biking are well worth doing.

To summarize, the hotel is very comfortable, the food is good quality, the location isnt bad and the all inclusive is good. The Mirabel beach hotel is better but you cant go wrong with The Jaz Mirabel Park

Room Tip: Get a room on the top floor(3rd) to avoid listening to people walking around there rooms

We were actually booked in at the club but was upgraded, I think because there weren't enough guests. Main lobby, pool, slides, view, everything was really lovely. Our room was clean, light, great movie channels! Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Great towel art which was amusing.
Internet a tad patchy but pretty good.

The food was pretty good overall, although if you like wine, I suggest you bring your own!

We took a dive open water course at Aquarius Dive Centre at the Sheridan, which I would recommend. Bus from the school picks you up and PADI course is great there. Amazing reefs and wild life to be seen! Also, don't forget to ask at the front desk at the hotel the night before they will pack you a lunch for the day for free.

Best authentic place we found was the Farsha mountain lounge on the coast.

Top tip: taxis are pretty cheap and can always be bartered down. I would forgo the transfers to/from the airport as you end up having to drop all other passengers on the way to your hotel, so just spend the 40-50 Egyptian pounds (about 4-5 quid) for your own personal ride.

Room Tip: All rooms were facing the pool so don't pay more for this feature.

Just returned 11 Dec 13 from 10 days of bliss.

I cant express enough how nice friendly and helpful the staff are and they only complimented the great food and the rest of the hotel. We stayed in the smaller Park hotel and it was lovely. the room was a great size a huge balcony and big bathroom. It was all in great condition and everyday the room was clean and we looked forward to what towel animal we had as a surprise made by room service.

The Spa is stunning and the services offered can be bartered for too. The pool side bar offers basic but good quality food and of course drinks. The pier on the beach is a must, walk to the end of what must be 700m long!

Word to the wise... beware the cocktails are delicious and Moorish but depending on the waiter can change in strength from mmmm to knock ur socks off :) and if you want to remember the evening stay clear of the flaming Ouzo ;)

Top tips;
1: Use the do not disturb bag on your sun loungers not to be bother by the "Sales Reps"
2: Always barter and don't be scared of saying no thank you to sales people and walking out/away, its not rude its the ways its done there.
3: ALWAYS confirm a price before getting on the camels on the beach, we saw first hand the owner try to take advantage of the poor family who did not do this and charge over the top (£50 english!!)

Only disappointment was the behaviour of the Russian gets, who were obnoxious and rude however this is no fault of the Hotels.

Already planning to go back next year and cant wait.

Room Tip: You can ask for double beds and they are massive, highly recommended.

We booked in via the Mirabel Beach Hotel, very plush and nice and big, only to be told that we were next door at the Park. A very much smaller complex with no access to the beach. Hardly overflowing in December. We paid £499 for a week all inclusive. It was £850 per 2 weeks at the Beach.
Having said that the people were fantastic and we had a really good time. Entertainment left a lot to be desired but the staff more than made up for it always pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. The towel figures on your beds were by far outclassed on the last day when we found a crocodile right across our beds, very funny. Would we go back...yes

Room Tip: All the rooms overlook the pool area so no brick walls or fences blocking your view and nice balcony...
