This hotel certainly lived up to my expectations. The complex itself consists of 3 hotels (Beach, Park and Club) you can use the pools of all three hotels which came in handy for us - even though our room was in the Park Hotel we spent most of our time at the Clubs pool. The food was lovely with a wide range for everyone, as well as the general all inclusive restaurants they also have 4 other al a carte restaurants on the complex - one meal in one of the restaurants was included within our holiday package - the only problem was when booking the table for the al a carte resturants you are not given the option to view the menu beforehand so its definitely worth going to each resturant first to view the menu.

The staff were amazing and are what really made our holiday. There were a few members of staff at the Parks upstairs bar that rarely smiled but everyone is entitled to a bad day :)
Staff that particularly stood out were Ali the cleaner for room 5232, Mahmoud the Clubs towel man, Bahaa the Clubs pool bar man, Raed the spa man and Ahmed the omellete chef.

All round our first holiday to Egypt was amazing and we cannot wait to return to this hotel.

I visited this hotel in June 2014 with my girlfriend, brother and his girlfriend and must say that this hotel surpassed my expectations. We arrived at the hotel at about 9pm and were greet by a helpful employee who took our bags. We were then given a non-alcoholic cocktail while we completed our check-in. Our bags were taken to our room swiftly and we were shown how to set up our own personal code on the safe. As we had arrive quite late, the neighbouring Jaz Mirabel Beach hotel provided a late dinner service until midnight, which was superb.

We had a family room for four adults, which was more than adequate. The room was clean and thoroughly cleaned every day. The bedroom was spacious and there were two single beds in the neighbouring living area. All of the beds were very comfortable.

The hotel itself was excellent. There was never any trouble getting sunbeds by the pool, and everything was to a very high standard. One tiny negative was that we noticed a few exposed screws on the bridge over the pool. We told two members of staff about this, but when we left two days later, this hadn't been fixed.

The service by all members of staff was impeccable. They really do go out of their way to ensure you have a good holiday. Haythem at the pool bar was brilliant. He was always friendly and after a few days, he had memorised our food and drinks order. Mena at Mazag's bar was amazing. He works tirelessly throughout the day and night and always has a smile on his face. As soon as our drinks were empty, or sometimes before they were, he was ready to take our next order. Truly incredible service. The all-inclusive drinks were good, but the cocktails were sometimes a bit too strong for some people.

The Flooka restaurant was good. The breakfast was very repetitive, but there was a wide variety of hot and cold foods, as well as freshly made omelettes and pancakes. The food at lunch and dinner was different every day and all very good. We always found plenty of food that we liked and enjoyed trying a few new things. Ali was very efficient and laying the tables for us when we arrived and clearing away our empty plates and glasses.

As we booked through First Choice, we were able to enjoy a meal at one of the a la carte restaurants, of which we chose Asian. The food was excellent, but the portion sizes were a bit small. The service here was also brilliant and it was nice to have a change of atmosphere to the hectic buffet style restaurant.

There is also a variety of shops within the hotel, which were useful for picking up souvenirs and general items of shopping. These aren't owned by the hotel, so don't forget to haggle. There is also a late night glow bar/club from midnight to 2am. This wasn't well advertised so it was very empty. About 8 people were in there, including us, so we left quite quickly. Also, drinks here aren't all inclusive.

Within a fifteen minute walk of the hotel is a variety of local shops and the Hard Rock Café. The shops are worth exploring just for the local experience. Everyone is very friendly, although they do hassle you. Some of them want to sell you things, but others just want a general chat. Lucas owns a tea/spice shop in the market opposite the Hard Rock Café. We spent an hour in his shop, he made us a nice lemon tea and we had a very good laugh. At the end, he wouldn't accept my tip for his hospitality. He just enjoyed having our company. The Hard Rock Café serves excellent food and cocktails. Cocktails are buy one get one free before 7pm and you get a 30% off food voucher if you go back for a second visit. There is also free wifi here!

We did three excursions in our week here. We visited the Old Market which is a typical Egyptian market where you can buy some good quality fakes and souvenirs. This place is very different to the rest of Sharm El Sheikh but definitely worth a visit.

We also visited Cleo Park, which is the local waterpark. Although this is quite cheap, it's not brilliant. Only 7 rides, and you will get bored after an hour. If you go here, a taxi costs about 75 LE each way.

Our last trip was a VIP Cruise to Tiran Island for snorkelling. This is a MUST! The whole day was excellent. Snorkelling was superb and the boat crew are hilarious. It's also all inclusive (soft drinks only), and provides a lovely barbecued lunch.

As said, we travelled with First Choice. The rep at the hotel was Haithem, and he was amazing. Very friendly and funny, and extremely helpful. He was always on hand if you needed to ask a question, and went out of his way to provide an excellent service. He is a credit to First Choice.

Finally, a couple of quick tips. If you want a taxi, get it from outside the hotel gates. The price is significantly cheaper, but make sure you haggle it down! Our tax driver, Vidu, was great. Also, the exchange rate in Sharm El Sheikh is about 12 LE to £1. So exchange your money when you are there, not before. Take some US Dollar's for tipping, as foreign coins are useless to them and low denomination Egyptian Pounds are hard to obtain. However, nobody expected a tip or waited for a tip, except for the taxi drivers. But tipping is greatly appreciated, and staff show their gratitude by giving you a truly wonderful service. Also, if you travel with First Choice, your all inclusive at Mazag's Bar is 24 hour, and you can enjoy an all inclusive pizza at the Italian restaurant every night between midnight and 4am!!

One tiny negative is the limit of 150mb wifi per room. Between four of us, this was just too low. Instead of paying for extra, we just used it at the Hard Rock Café. Just buy a soft drink for about 40 LE and get free refills and free wifi!

Overall, an excellent holiday and I can't wait to go back soon.

We booked this hotel for a reasonable priced chill out week in the Sun. When we arrived everything seemed great and there are a number of positives however as the week went on the negatives became more apparent.

Positives were;
Beautiful reception area and quick professional check in
Large spacious rooms with a proper double bed (also fridge in room with free bottles of water)
All balconies overlook the pool
Large pool which never felt overcrowded
Attractive hotel complex with very short walk to the beach
Gym and spa area very nice
Initially the food seemed to be of a good quality

However we found the following points very much let the hotel down in our opinion;
All of the drinks are hardly anything more than luke warm
Food becomes repetitive very quickly
Can only get bottled water from upstairs reception bar, very small disposable cups used for other drinks
Sunbeds are pretty uncomfortable
Staff seem to expect tips and only seem to give good service to those who tip regularly ( we never once got drinks served to us during lunch or dinner) this seems to be the culture here - quite different to how we have found things in turkey and other similar places; we tipped occasionally however we felt it was expected on almost every occasion.
We walked outside of the hotel one evening to go to the supermarket and found it a very unpleasant experience, we were pounced upon within a minute of leaving the complex by a man offering to sell us drugs then by several taxi drivers who were very persistent. The area is very run down, poorly lit and was littered with men lying along the side of the road.
Only 150mb of free WiFi - 10 euros for an extra 250mb, no idea why this isn't free as per other hotels of a similar standard.
Shops in the complex are handy however if you show any interest whatsoever you are hassled by the owners then offered ludicrous prices which take a lot of haggling to get them down, not a pleasant experience for a hotel shop.

Overall not sure we would return to Egypt, we holiday regularly and there are many nicer places which don't have these issues.

We stayed for 7 nights from 6/6/14. Everything went very smoothly from the airport to the hotel. There was a warm welcome at the hotel (Sameh), and a cocktail before a buggy took the suitcases to the room. We stayed on the ground floor in 5116. The room and balcony were huge. The bed was very comfy. For food there was a good choice everyday, and the local beer is excellent!
The service from staff in this place is some of the best I have ever experienced. Keep an eye out for Raymon (housekeeping), he will make funny things out of towels. Big thanks also to Muhammed (restaurant), Ibraham (beach bar) and many others who worked hard to make the stay more enjoyable.
There is a great choice of pools here and the beach had loads of room. The sea was like a bath. Take a walk along the "closed" Jetty for an amazing view of the resort and see some tropical fish. The whole place is very well laid out and very clean. Had a deep tissue massage on the last day. Recommend that too!
Will definitely be returning! Mr Owner, your staff deserve a pay rise!

Room Tip: on the ground, you are much closer to the pool :)

I visited the Jaz Mirabel Park Resort last week and would definatley recommend.
First of all I wanted to say that the staff are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Tom, who worked at the poolside was flawless. It was my boyfriend's birthday while we was there and we woke up to balloons over the sunbeds where we normally sat, thanks to Tom. Haytham from the bar made a beautiful towel and flower arrangement for him too. Zin was also excellent, everyday he took orders for drinks and brought them to you by the pool and at about 4pm every day he'd walk around the pool with a portable cocktail bar- here they are not skimpy with the alcohol either, thumbs up from me! Mohammed in the restaurant was lovely, always looked after us. In the evening we were served by a waitor called Sam who is an asset to the staff. He is very commical, entertaining and welcoming yet hardworking. Our maid, also called Sam, made sure our room was clean and left us some fabulous towel art. The only issue I had was with one staff member who was rather rude to me. Everyone else was hardworking and friendly.
The food here is average. People complain about food when they go abroad but seriously, you can't expect big resorts to provide al a carte meals for everyone three times a day- what do you expect for an all inclusive? I agree it can get a bit repetitive, however it catered for all different tastes and there was always something to eat.

I would definatley return to this resort as the staff were welcoming, hotel was clean and the weather was scorching hot all day every day.

A tip I would give to travellers going to this hotel is to take plenty of pound coins or dollar bills and tip the staff. If you tip them a pound coin they really look after you.. And to be honest, they work so hard they deserve it. It's not like a pound or a dollar is very much anyway.

Three of us stayed here in May 2014 for 11nights. We had a family room which was perfect as the rooms are separate not all three beds in one room!!! This is the main reason we originally booked this hotel and it was definitely a good choice!!

The hotel is just the right size not to small and not to big!! Their sister hotels are on the same sight too however like other hotels we have stayed in you are able to identify the different areas!!! (You are able to use the other pools too if you wish but we found the main one here was the best one with the entertainment and game throughout the day, highly recommend playing water polo and doing the aqua aerobics! They are great fun)

The only downside was that the jetty was under going construction so you was unable to use it which was a shame as that is one of the main reasons you go to Egypt.... TO SEE THE FISH!!

Despite that we all would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of going here as the service you will receive is amazing with the staff doing everything to make your stay with them rememberable!!

Fantastic hotel, food excellent, staff very friendly which mostly don't expect tips.
I would recommend the park for the community feel, there was very little difference between the park and and the beach we ate in both restaurants food exactly the same.
If I was to have a small complaint would be there are no steps to get out if the pool apart from 1 side but apart from that we had a fantastic holiday, myself my husband and my 4yr old granddaughter.
Highly recommend. ....
