The hotel pool and private beach (short walk) were great. Great snorkeling, ideal when the tide is in for learner swimmers / snorkelers as you see many tropical fish in the shallow waters.
Food was excellent, we always went to the sea garden main restaurant, although you can use any of the main all inclusive restaurants (and facilities) in the sea group hotel complex. (3 hotels huddled altogether). For lunch we went to the il pescador restaurant (sea club) as it was by the beach. All inclusive meant all inclusive - except special services, ice creams and freshly made fruit juices and non-local alcholic drinks. All inclusive Egyptian beer and red wine was great. Best to take sterling cash and change it over there (rate was much better than in UK and commission free).
Staff always very helpful and very friendly. A/C Rooms were spacious clean with large balconies and nice views. Don't forget to give the occassional tip as it is much appreciated.

Great hotel. You can use all restaurants and bars in the Sea resort, but the best are in Sea Garden. This part of resort is small and it gives everything a personal touch. The people are friendly and everything is clean. Food is prepared fresh and is very good for an All-Inclusive hotel. All-Inclusive does not include fresh juices, International cocktails.

I would WARN others who would like to try water pipe and their SPA with massage. Those services are rented out and they are very UNFRIENDLY and THEY CHEAT, so think twice before going there.

Apart from negative experience in those services my family and I had a great vacation.

from the minute we walked in to reception at sea gardens we were welcomed like V.I.P. every second of our stay was made special! The staf bent over backwards to ensure our holiday was as a great one, from the cleaners to the bar and restaurant guys! Sammy being our favourite barman in the world! The grounds are breathtaking and the cleanliness was outstanding! our room was huge and had a wonderfull pool view! with all the restaurants, shops, beach and animation team we had no need for anything else! itook my 5 year old son with me and he enjoyed every minute! tey made such a fuss of him and we felt completely safe and looked after, so much so that we went back again for xmas and new year and plan returning again in september!

When we drove from the airport I must say that my family were 'blaming' me for bringing them to what looked like a war zone!!! This is something you need to prepare yourself for if you have not been to Egypt before. I kind of thought it would be like Europe where you can walk outside your hotel and have a stroll about!! Wrong!! Hotels have a security 'house' and when you go on excersions you will have an armed guard with you!!

But....... This hotel is part of a huge complex and to be honest, you really don't need to go out if you didn't want to. Loads of things to do and you have use of ALL the facilities the other hotels. Was safe to walk around at night. The complex is stunning and is kept immaculate. The Sea Garden is the smallest of the hotels, but we preferred this, and even though we went for May half term it really wasn't that busy and although temps did reach 40 on 2 days (other days 36-38) there was a fantastic breeze which made it ok (although you couldn't lie in the sun, but in the shade was lovely).

Although the food was plentiful 3 of our group of 4 (one a child) did have upset stomach and unfortunately my son came back with Gastroenteritis, so maybe not that good on the food dept, although it tasted lovely.

I booked this hotel and I went with my husband and young son and my friend, so wanted the seperate bedroom for us which the Sea Garden Offered (we did meet some people over there and used their room to shower the last day and there 'outside' bedroom was HUGE (theirs was set up as a living room though)

We went on a couple of trips - Naama Bay, mmmmmmm what can I say, tried it, but not again, same shops, same extremely stroppy men trying to sell you things, very dirty place
We also went on the Star Gazer Bedouin Night, this was brilliant and my son (8) totally enjoyed it too. Rode the camels, had a talk on Bedouins, walked up a mountain for some lovely photos, had dinner, made egyptian bread (husband hasn't stopped making it since weve come back), danced around the fire, then 5 mins in coach to hear all about the star constellations and see Jupiter, Pluto and Venus through the huge telescopes. Totally recommend that trip and was only £37 including camel ride £30 without.

Our friend went to Cairo and as she was going on her own she decided to travel by coach, went to meet the coach to find out they had stamped the visa in the wrong place!! She did go in the end (a day later, and having to employ a personal guide, and our rep had to take her passport back to the airport to get it restamped!!) and she did enjoy it.

I did have an Egyptian massage as I had money left over at the end of the holiday, massage was good, but I had it in the huts next to the Sea Life pool area, and they were dusty, so didn't really make it very tranquil!

There a few things I would take from this holiday

1) If you get ANY sort of upset stomache see the doctor immediately (we didn't and it took ages to go when we got home)

2) DO NOT change any money up before you go. Our exchange rate over here was 7.25. The other 2 hotels (Sea Life and Sea Club) both have banks at a better exchange rate of 8.6. And although cosmos trips are all quoted in £ they use their rate of 8.6 (which obviously we lost out from the start!) When you go out they do prefer £ and you get a better deal with items, so when we next go we will not be changing anything up at all.

3) You will need sea shoes and probably best get an underwater camera (cheaper over here)

4) Ensure you get your passport stamped over your visa (if you are getting one) see above, as border controls may not let you through even though it's their error and not yours!!

Def be back May 2012 as my son is desperate to do the deep sea diving and cannot do until he is 10. Probably try another though.

Hope this has helped

The 3 hotels that make up the resort are great Clean airy comfy excellent, We just chilled out here
A good number of bars and restaurant. Pools and pool areas were great , lots of beds including the beach. with excellent snorkelling
The staff were excellent polite quick, even more so when you tip your 10 Egyptian pounds (1.30) every 3rd day
You cannot walk anywhere outside the resort , cos there is no where close to walk to. There is a free bus twice nightly to the Neema bay town. and one to Sharm but you have to book as its only a mini bus If you like haggling for fun, then this is the place for you, If not stay well away.
We had several trips from here The pyramids, but this a long day.
Snorkelling trip elsewhere but theres no need, the snorkelling as the beach is brilliant I have never seen so many beautifully coloured fish.
THe stars at night trip is great if you do it around a new moon, but they dont tell you that. We went on a full moon and you cant see a thing with out the telescopes. And a bedioun feast was poor I felt.

The place itself is great, the only slight downside is the ignorant Russians but I would recommend this hotel to anybody

What a great location. We mainly spent our time in the opposite Sea Life hotel as the activities were a lot busier with the animation team e.g. beach volleyball, water aerobics, yoga. The beach is quite stoney and access is only by sea club and sea life. We'd recommend snorkelling off the jetty as we walked out to the sea first time and my boyfriend slipped and cut himself on the coral. Our room was always lovely but we felt our air-conditioning was not cool enough. Other people we met said their rooms were like ice boxes. We did tell reception three times but we think it was the whole system in our block. We were offered a change of room but we just suffered it. The food is good but like any all inclusive gets repetitive Fresh orange juice, cocktails, ice creams and drinks after 11pm occur a charge. The onsite shops are reasonable and saves you the hassle of haggling in naama bay. If your staying for two weeks and have some decent spending money I would definitely recommend Cairo and Luxor. For smaller trips quad biking, snorkelling boat trip, naama bay and old sharm market are fantastic. We found as a young couple the other young brits we met we're not as adventerous as us with going out and the trips but everyone has their own taste. Any questions please email :)

Had a wonderful two week stay in this hotel with our fussy children aged 12 and 15. Children still insist on sharing a room so the family room with separate sleeping area for kids was perfect. Staff were incredibly friendly, hotel was clean and well-maintained and the buffet restaurant with themed evenings provided quality food that didn't get boring. The pool area was relaxing and everyone enjoyed sunbathing and swimming and the pool bar was handy for hard to please kids.
A real plus was that although the sea garden hotel was quiet ensuring a tranquil and relaxing stay, the two busier hotels of sea life and sea club were available with more amenties when you needed a change of pace or a spot of shopping. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the resort wasn't near the busier areas so the kids couldn't drag us round the town centres, but the shuttle bus or local taxis were cheap and handy for when you needed to pick up some gifts. Overall a fantastic stay and would definitely visit again, recommend to all!
