We stayed at Rixos for 10 days, each day being exceptional and worth it. Can't put in to words how amazing this hotel really is, the food, entertainment, everything!
So many places to eat and all the food being excellent, like to add how happy we were with service, especially in the nerfititi buffet, treated so well and waiters are always smiling and happy to help us. Entertainment was superb every day and night, animation team working extremely hard to keep us entertained, especially romeo who is very lovely and works at his best to get everyone involved! you simply cannot fault this hotel, although WiFi is very poor there is so much going on and so much to see that you completely forget about internet. Best hotel i have ever stayed in and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax but also to enjoy yourself. Staff are so helpful, especially bella who played a huge part in making sure everything was perfect. If you decide to visit Sharm, this is the perfect place to stay.

Room Tip: i'm sure any room will be exceptional, just make sure it is suited to however many of you are go...

This was my second trip to Sharm El Sheikh (previously had a great stay at the Savoy) and I read many reviews before choosing the Rixos. On arrival we were all very impressed, a grand lobby and swift check in, clearly far better than the other hotels in this part of Sharm. Our family room was of a good size, (with 2 bedrooms) well appointed and clean, though could have been in New York or London as it lacked in Egyptian decor. We stayed when the hotel was only at 30% occupancy (raised towards the end of our stay and became irritatingly rowdy at the lagoon pool at times and with lots of smokers) and so it was tranquil around the resort and not difficult to locate a sun bed at any of the three pools. We avoided the family pool area as this was the most rowdy and had various activities rubbing throughout the day (fine if that is your scene). The hotel has a pleasant private beachfront, again with sufficient beds and areas of shelter, though we didn't really swim in the sea as it is incredibly salty and stings! My criticism would be (which caused tears on the first night) that the main Zodiac restaurant was disappointing in its ambience as it was overly large and more like a canteen with children climbing on furniture or running around (felt worse in the evening). We enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace (sufficient shade and breeze to do so) as it had a better feel. The fresh honeycomb was delicious every morning with fresh natural yogurt. As my daughter is vegetarian we encountered various issues with a lack of vegetarian food, poor labelling or lack of understanding. I must say that having spoken to the Guest Relations manager Bella on the first evening, she was incredibly receptive and eager to make our stay a wonderful one. We had meetings every day (joined by the lovely Chef Byram and other chef) to arrange food and all points raised re food, cross contamination of meat sauces to vegetarian ones etc and even improving how cocktails were made, were heard and acted on immediately. I really cannot fault the professionalism, friendliness or dedication of the staff at the Rixos. A special mention to the lovely Barman Akram Fekry who was always there with a smile and a "habibi" whilst he tossed bottles through the air in true 'Cocktail' style and conjured up a fabulous Mojito. It would be nice to have some dedicated pool waiters though to deliver drinks. Our favourite A La Carte restaurant was the Italian as the beef carpaccio was divine! After a shaky start I would definitely recommend a stay at the Rixos and say whilst there is bit to be done (more intimate feel to the restaurant, some refurbishment in dining areas, better labelling of foods re what are suitable for vegetarians and what the canapés are) to make it truly great, they are all trying hard and genuinely want to be the best in Sharm. Thank you all for a lovely, relaxing stay and all your hard work to meet our needs.

After reading the good reviews on tripadvisor we decided to stay at rixos.
Reception: vety fancy lobby. Receptionidt were very welcoming. Eventhough we had a problem in our reservqtion but they were very polite

Pools: many pools. Very clean. Enjoyed the slides. Barmen were very polite and professional.

Restaurants: we ate everyday at zodiac restaurant since we had kids . The food was good the best in egypt. You can find a specialist checking the food . This is the first time i travel to egypt and didnt have stomach problem.
as for a la carte restaurants we tried sakura sushi wasnt bad but i think they have to do tasty sushi not a regular one (cheap).
As for taj mehal wasnt bad .
The fish restaurant was perfect salmon and sultan ibrahim fish were tasty

rooms: we booked deluxe room was big enough for 2 adults and two children .room was cleaned everyday .

The only complain :wifi was so weak . The slides at the kids club are so hot they need to cover it.

i do recommend this hotel. The workers especialy the waiters were very polite and good. Make sure you give them a good tip because they really deserve all the respect .

I want to be brief and fair,
the hotel is great very big lots of pools, food is great comparing to the sharm other hotels, staff good, nice evening activities, there is some minor problem like some staff attitudes but this is minor.
my issue with this hotel is the safety, we went (my wife and three kids), and I noticed the slippery floors around the pools, and I mention it to my kids to be careful not to run and walk carefully .
all of them slipped and fell down, and my older daughter 10 years old broke her hand ( the next day of our arrival), and it was around the slides pool
we spend the whole day at the hospital, and our vacation turned into a nightmare.
what the hotel did is
he put "wet floor " around the slides pool !!!!
nobody at the hotel double checked on us, I told a manager there (two days after the incident ) that it is he hotel fault and they should fix the problem
later I spent a couple of hours at the slides pool, there is always somebody slips there
hotel safety is a priority, and a 5 star hotel should have take into consideration the safety of its customers.
I don't recommend this hotel , especially to families with small kids

Dear Shaker T

Thank you for taking the time to write about your stay here with us.

It was unfortunate that your daughter cracked a bone in her hand during the stay.

At Rixos Hotels we take our guests safety very seriously - with this in mind we clearly display wet floor signs around the pool - which you admitted were there, there is anti slip mats around the water park pool and we also have appropriate signage kindly asking our guests not to run around the pool. Unfortunately kids do get over excited at water parks and do run - however the hotel can not be held responsible for this as we have met all safety guidelines.

With regards to follow up you stayed with us for 4 days - on the second day of your stay unfortunately your daughter was taken to the hospital and on your return from the hospital you were contacted by our Duty Manager to ensure everything was ok and to offer any further assistance.

The following day our Guest Relation Team spoke with your wife and again offered any further assistance - the day before departure you spoke with the Guest Relation Team and on your check out you were met by the Assistant Front Office Manager - we are disappointed that you feel we did not follow up with you and even more disappointed that you would not return to us again.

We really hope you will reconsider and we wish your daughter a speedy recovery

Thank you

Kelly Walmsley

Just back from Rixos, knew it was going to be great as soon as we walked through the door to see magnificent chandelier in reception! Great food, great service. Booked with Fleetway Travel on a special offer so was well pleased as have never been all inclusive before. Evening entertainment was great, although don't get too close for the fire show! Do try the Sunrise and Sunset meditation great massage and helps to increase your flexibility. Lots of different pools so you can choose peace and quiet or lots of activities. It was great to swim up to the bar and just ask for a drink or help yourself to water from the freezer. The beach restaurant was our favourite for lunch and much to the delight of our 16 year old son wifi was great both by the pool and at the beach. He even enjoyed playing football at 4pm in 40 degrees!

as celebrating my 50th birthday,my wife and i stayed for a short 3 nights at rixos, and we enjoyed it a lot.first of all,check-in was done in 7 minutes(who can beat that?).and in 5 minutes the shuttle took us to our junior suite wich was really above all our expectations, large, clean, super bathroom, very comfortable bed.then we took a walk on the lovely lovely grounds, between gardens, palmiers, flowers, pools and waterfalls, its hard to describe such a beautiful ground, with such cleanliness, you feel so peaceful and relaxing.each member of staff you meet is with a smile, polite, just ready to help you,to guide you. then we went to dinner(actually we took all our meals at the main restaurant ,zodiac),coz the buffet there was exellent, many choices, good quality, clean, well decorated.i have just a little complaint on the desserts,it was very poor comparing with the rest of the meal.very good service, nothing to say.the second day,we went on a day tour snorkling and diving.it was marvelous, please dont miss this tour if you are at sharm el sheick.on return we were surprised to see that a birthday cake was offered to our room, such a nice touch.lets talk about the entertainment:from 10 am till midnight, you can never be bored.everyone in the entertainment team works so hard so that your stay becomes a lovely and memorable.special thanks to laryssa, she is always caring about everyone, trying to help and entertain, always smiling and very helpful.all in all,we really enjoyed our stay, and we will certainly come back next time with our kids.thanks to all the staff, thanks to laryssa,to ahmed and khaled, you nwere all great.

Room Tip: i will recommend bloc 18,19.they are near the lagoon pool, exellent and near the zodiac restaurant.

we stayed in this hotel for a short 3 night stay(but totally worth it)all i can say it was a very pleasant stay , the beauty of this place is in it sheer size and public areas (pools and restaurants) and the all inclusive service ! which in my humble hospitality experience opinion that’s how all hotels should be .
the hotel service it self is above average ,food is very good not very high above the average but remember its all inclusive service there are many restaurants to choose from and quantities of food being served is just massive (hats off for the kitchen staff)
the most important advantage of this resort is the very pleasant and smiley staff specially the F&B staff in general they serve you with big smile on their faces and "good morning" or "good day " and "good Evening" is always greeted by the staff when they see you in the hallways or around the pools.

the only down-point i can think of is the wifi service , it was very poor in the rooms , which was a tiny disappointment , but the reception informed us in advance and told us that they are working on fixing it.. free wifi available around the hotel and works fine thought , this didn’t affect the mood of the stay

in the end the hotel is just very highly recommended , would come back again if i decided to visit sharm again

Room Tip: all rooms are pool view and i think only suites are sea view , all rooms are great !! :)
