Just got back from doing and 11 day IA stay ~ not the most luxurious of hotels in Sharm but had a great holiday !!
The Staff are this hotels best assest ~ bent over backwards and extremely professional and freindly without crossing the line. Front of house staff Zizo & Mohammad were exeptional from the welcome we got to the day we sadly had to leave . Ahmed one of the waiters in the bar was went out of his way every evening to find so we could enjoy his coffeess made with hot milk. His name escapes me but the pool bloke was amazing. The rooms are very spacious and kept very clean ~ infact we got a much better room then we paid for, food was good and the chefs were always on hand to talk to . All in all had a fab holiday , would definitely go back there

Arrived at this hotel we had to wait 3 hours for a room which was beside the dj area, no blackout blinds so no privacy on the ground floor , no safety deposit box . We ended up changing rooms it was just a joke. food was appauling the bar ran out of soft drinks the whole hotel was just disgusting after the second night we booked out and went elsewhere the staff didnt seem to surprised we were relocating. Save youself the grief dont book this hotel you will regret it big time.

We arrived at 7pm with 3 young children to be told that the room was not going to be ready for 2 hours, but offered us a drink that never came as they ran out of all soft drinks! They showed us into the dining room where you had to wait for the staff to clean the plates, cutlery and glasses, then fight with other guests to get them as there were very few. The food was inedible and the glasses were made i think for young children only! Whilst waiting for 2 hours we were showed to the stage for the evening entertainment but that was also a failure as the music didnt work and the belly dancer walked off stage! we then went back to reception for an update where they said we would need to wait another half hour. In this half hour a woman collapsed and the situation was dealt with very badly as they had no medical insurance (so ensure that you have it!!!). At 9,30 we went back to reception to be told that actually there was no rooms available and that they had over booked by 16 rooms. By midnight with 3 angry adults and 3 very tired young children, 2 hours of fighting with the manager they reluctantly moved us into park inn hotel but said we had to return the following day (even though they would only have 1 room available when we paid for 2) That was not going to happen as the cleanliness was appaling with faeces on doors, walls and toilets, no toilet paper, which we did report and they gave us a half empty box of thin tissues!!! Consequently we had to pay additional to stay in another hotel as the med hotel rep was useless and never showed his face.
I would NEVER recommend to stay in this hotel even if you were desperate! To top it off the manager does not see a problem with his hotel and when i questioned him about the bad reviews he said that they were inaccurate and that the bad reviews only came from large groups and/or people with children even though we fell into both catorgories!!!

Room Tip: Do not stay in any of the rooms!!

Room Tip: try and get pool view room on bottom floor you can sunbathe on them and get a tan

We arrived at this hotel at 1.45 in the morning after been delayed 6hrs with our flight to be faced with puzzled expressions on the reception staffs there's they didn't know we were coming ,there was 7 of us .he kept trying to convince us that they did but he told me in the end they had been a mistake .after about 1hr we wer given roms that belonged to the staff they had no pillows towels and the rooms were dirty ,but the manager kept begging us to let them sort it .my daughters door would not lock so they then starting taking someone else's clothes out of a room and gave her that .in the room they gave us there wasn't a bed for my son so they knocked the person up in the room next door and took a bed out of her room .the next day was no better after been promised from 9oclock our rooms we got them at 2.30 .we found out that it was a Egyptian holiday and the hotel was full of Egyptians ,who the hotel did the food catering for ,as they were only having half board we could get food at dinner but at night it was all catered for them ,the bars ran out of glasses ,pop and water .the food was disgusting cold and not enough choice ,at all the time we were always served last .our room was only cleaned on the day before we came home we had to ask for toilet rolls and towels ,this hotel is really run down and I would class it as a 2 star 7familys left while we were there going to other hotels ,a lady I was speaking to had gone to her room to use the toilet and they had put someone else in her room .another couple walked in on someone having sex .the poolside is full of rust .i have been to Egypt a number of times and had great experiences but this will be my last time .

stayed at this hotel 14th oct till 28th

we arrived at 9 in the evenin and wasnt able to get any food or drink not a very nice welcome

staff
couldnt be better very helpful and understanding every time i complained about something they agreed .

food
not good at all i spent at least 800 pound on eating out for me and 3 kids breakfast was the best meal. on the 10th day of our holiday food improved that was only because the hotel got full up with egyptians for eid

rooms
nice and big but my balcony door my table were both broken my cleaner never cleaned properly and you have to ask for toilet roll everyday from reception the place was a joke i have never been to a hotel where you can not get an iron in your room we had a small baby with us and they wouldnt give us a kettle to make bottles

the final straw came when they sent all the animation away and had no cold drinks in the hotel for the customers they ran out of everything except for very watered down orange i had a meeting with the general manager who wasnt interested and made excuses about everything

my advice for anyone would be find somewhere else and do not waste your money in this hotel i did not allow it to spoil my holiday sharm is a beautiful place but you dont want to go on holiday and spend most of the time moaning the only reason we stayed at this hotel is to be near our friends shop but next time it will be cheaper to stay else where and get taxis everyday

Me and 2 friends came here for our 21st for 2 weeks thinking we'd be staying in a lovely 4star hotel! How wrong we were!! Firstly we got there quite late at night around 11 and we were absolutely starving and we thought we would at least have been offered some sort of snack but we were told to go to one of the restaurants down the street, we paid for all inclusive and not to go down the street and eat which we ended up doing anyway but ill get to that later. So we got into our room which they knew 3 people were staying in and we only had 2 beds and they said they would get us another one but why wasn't it in there already? So the 3rd bed came which was a crappy put up bed which was rock hard and very uncomfortable we complained about this and they offered us a new room which was no different and we'd already unpacked so was too much hassle! The range of soft drinks available were rubbish as well we had to demand diet coke which they said they couldn't get but then provided us with it after we begged them. Also in the bar at night they had empty bottles of Malibu and other drinks on show but these drinks weren't even available at the bar and they couldnt understand the problem. There was another bar with more drinks but these drinks were at an extra cost. Moving on to the food, the variety of food in the restaurant was absolutely rubbish we only ate in there twice because it made us ill. Mohammed the manager at the front did go out of his way to get the chef to make us something different and we did have pizza a few nights but most days we had to go to the English bar down the street which I don't know what we would have done without it! But this meant we were spending more money than we'd originally planned. The hotel was that rubbish that Mohammad the manager ended up leaving towards the end of our stay, don't think anyone enjoyed working there and I blame the big manager at the top for not getting money out of his pocket, surely if you wanted your hotel to have a good name (which judging from the locals faces when we mentioned it, it didnt) you would go out of your way to please your guests. I saw many people complaining throughout the duration of my holiday. Also they don't wash the glasses properly and just used water and their hands, my friend had a glass with a lipstick mark still on it. The hotel did have some positives like the bar staff gave us a good laugh, and taha the towel man spoke amazing English, even better than people who had better jobs than him! We were also very impressed with our first cleaner who made us different animals out of our towels which we really looked forward to seeing every day! Lastly our electric didn't work often and we called out the electrician At least 7 times to come and fix it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I certainly wouldn't give it a 4 star rating! Don't believe what your tour operators or anyone tells you, it's a dump and they couldn't even pay their animation team who ended up leaving the hotel!
