I stayed here the week before Christmas, so up until 24th December, and absolutely loved it. I stayed with my friend so it was just two thirty something girls looking for major chill out time surrounded by nice settings which is exactly what we got... and more! If I had to say the most outstanding element of this hotel is the food in both the Italian and fish restaurants. Every night they served up high quality cuisine to a fine dining standard with impeccable presentation and service. You get 6 divine courses every night which always left us suitably full but never over full. Highly recommend to at least go half board for this reason, if not full. We went half board and enjoyed a fantastic hot and cold breakfast buffet every morning which we ate in the morning sun every day on the dining patio. I can vouch for quality of food as my friend and I consider ourselves somewhat foodies with one of us in the trade! As well as great food the rooms and general environmens of the hotel were finished to a very high and modern standard and for anyone who is a hotel snob/interior design geek (like me!) you will love it. Gorgeous clean rooms and bedding with really comfy beds and flat screen tv. Loads of storage space and cool modern showers. Also free internet access in rooms via cable or wifI in hotel reception. Last but not least the pools and pool areas/eateries are also modern and cleaned every day- but beware the slippy tiles though when leaving the pool- I went down with a right bang and it's painful when your bottom/back hits the stone. Finally two pieces of inside info-the hotel shop is expensive with little choices and no prices shown (I think they make it up customer by customer) and don't rely on the hotel shuttle bus as it only runs if enough people. Also hotel taxi service is more expensive than flagging one! All in all though fantastic experience of both quality and service standards and I'll definitely stay there again next time in Sharm-thank you cleopatra :)

We would highly recommend this hotel for a couple looking for a relaxing break in the sun to re-energise.

The Resort:
The resort is well presented and maintained to a high standard, with beautiful grounds and modern buildings. At the time of our visit, the spa facilities and shops were not yet open, nor was the jetty at the beach. However, it was evident that staff were busy working to ensure that these are open to guests as soon as possible. A short walk along the beach and you could make use of the shops and jetty at the neighbouring resort. Ideal for snorkelling and swimming, the coral reef is beautiful and can be explored from the jetty. The shallow waters of the beach are also worth exploring.
The resort is peaceful and not for those looking for nightlife. However, light entertainment is provided of an evening. The resort is a short (20 minute) coach trip from Sharm el sheikh airport and although the aircraft do fly overhead, this was not an issue in the slightest.

Rooms:
The rooms are to a modern finish with marble flooring and a luxurious double sized shower. They are cleaned on a daily basis and fresh towels are provided as well as two large bottles of water.

Beach & Pool:
There are three pool areas, each with a drinks bar. The beach and pool areas are extremely clean and well looked after, with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and parasols. Staff are on hand to serve you with drinks, towels and newspapers/ magazines.

Restaurants:
There are four restaurants on the resort - "The Market" which serves a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. "Fellini" which has an a la carte six course menu of Italian cuisine. A beach bar for lunchtime snacks/ice cream and a fish restaurant. We were staying on a Full board basis and there seemed to be a lot of confusion amongst staff as to what was included. We were told that only "The Market" restaurant was included but we later found out that all restaurants, with the exception of the beach bar, were part of a full board package. Drinks are not included as part of the full board package. We would recommend that you ensure that you ask to sign for all drinks to add to your bill when you check-out, as we found that staff were not particularly organised when it came to this.

The Bad:
The only problems we had with this hotel were that the light was broken in our bathroom and despite someone coming to fix it, it was not resolved properly. As mentioned above, staff confusion was also a problem in that they did not know what was included as part of the full board package and we also had an issue with our drinks bills whereby staff were confused as to what drinks had and had not been accounted for in our bill. As staff are new to the hotel and do not speak particularly good English, in time no doubt these teething problems will be resolved.

Overall we would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return in the near future. The Cleopatra resort, once complete and staff are fully up to speed will be the perfect relaxing getaway.

wanted somwhere quiet to unwind after a busy summer at work, chose this as it did not offer all inclusive so no drunk russians or brits for that matter. it was very civilised and its a new hotel so very clean and polite staff, if yr going to dive extra divers are on site and there german so very efficient, book on line before you go as its expensive at the resort, there is agreat jetty for snorkeling and the reef is absolutely teaming with life and very very good, the water was 28 degrees..fantastic. there was always a current so just drift snorkel and get out the water at the next hotels jetty..ignore the jetty gestapo with the flipping whistles.!! great hotel good location a few bars and food places to go and about £9 each way to naama bay..

Stayed here at the beginning of December and was a bit worried about previous reviews. Not a problem at all. The staff are great. We had a family room which was in fact 2 separate rooms with a connecting door so our teenage son was delighted. We stayed on a B & B basis which was OK but probably would have been better on all inclusive, the food was good and plenty of it. No diving when we were there because of sharks, but it's still OK to swim inside the reef. The hotel is beautifully landscaped. Naama Bay is 30 mins away. The airport is 15 mins away. For a relaxing holiday, this hotel hits all the spots.

Third visit to Sharm in 1.5 years, last time at the Stella Sharm which was excellent also. This hotel is fantastic the staff are great, rooms lovely, clean towels and sheets every day, We were b+b the breakfast is fantastic, special mention to Mohammed on the omlette station, great food and fantastic friendly service, the waiting staff are great, we were served by a lovely guy from Cairo who strangely disapeared half way through out stay, seemed to be some issue with some a.....hole of a guest which I was close to having words with, I just hope he is still there....
Dive centre will be good when fully up and running as the staff are very helpful and friendly, if you havent dived before at least try it in the pool, best diving in the world, dont just sit by the pool.
Also dont be afraid to use the little blue minibus taxis on the street, will take you to Naama or La Strada for 3LE per person, give 10LE £1 for a couple and they will be delighted, local egyptians who use them are most friendly and good banter.
Go, relax and enjoy and dont be afraid..
Will be back soon

We were booking the hotel because of the ranking by tripadvisor. We had a very nice time there. Rooms are very nice and clean. The hotel is interesting, pool-areas are very big, beach area with comfortable space between everybody. Service with towels and chairs super thanks to the funny boys.
The breakfast in "The market" has a lot of choice, the area nice for eating and dining. Sometimes they serve old bread from evening before and the service isn't running at 7a.m. Service was depending at person and area where you were sitting.
Lunchtime at beach Grill Terace was relaxing with view at the beach. Food was OK. They had not realy a standart for drinks and food yet there. The prices were OK.
Dining in "The Market" was also OK, but there are to much people. For the service was it sometimes to much for following with the drinks, cleaning tables,....
We were also able to eat 6 set course italian in "The Fellini" and with ocean view in the fish restaurant "Red Sea Wharf". Food, drinks and Service were excellent. For the same dinner at home in a restaurant you have to pay a lot of money. And we were always getting a table there without reservation.
We booked a few snorkel-trips in the hotel. The team from "Extra Divers worlwide" will welcome you. We made different snorkeltrips ( Tiran/Ras Nasrani/Ras Mohammed) and they were all safe and very nice. They have also good equipment for renting/buying.
Dont go in the high priced shops from the hotel, they ask 100% extra!!
They have a few things to organize for running 100% top, but i suppose it will be no probleme. There are a lot of persons, what are doing a good job. When they are all at this nivea, it will be fine.
We saw a lot of persons in half board, what took their bags full with food for saving lunchtime. They should better check them.
They shoud forbit smoking in food areas (terace). Its not nice to eat and to get all the smoke from your neighbours.
