We were not planning on visiting this country on our Middle East tour because of the political situation in Egypt. But, at the last minute, we changed our minds and decided to visit this important country. It was the right decision.
Sharm El Shiekh turned out to be very safe and has a lot to offer, especially if you enjoy the beach, the Red Sea, and water activities like snorkeling and diving (The second largest reef in the world, next to the Great Barrier reef in Australia, is located along the coast here.
This is a beautiful 5-star resort and the price was excellent. Breakfast and dinner had lots of variety.
I want to especially thank the front manager Mohammad. He went out of his way to help us plan our wonderful trip. Another manager, Ramy Abd El Munem, was also very helpful. The restaurant manager, Maher Mancy, was also very friendly and was at every meal to make sure the service was excellent and everything went very smoothly. We are very impressed by the whole team!
If we have the opportunity, we would like to go again. Thanks so much for the wonderful experience.

This is my 4th trip to the Radisson Blu in Sharm, this was the best so far, this year I enjoyed my trip with my brother and sister in law (who was celebrating her birthday).
As usual the weather was fantastic as were the staff, from Check in, to all the restaurant especially Mohamhed to Abdel the room attendant to the guys in the bars and Hassan & Mohamhed in the recreation team.
The only down side was listening to people complaining about the temp of the water in the outdoor pools, to heat a pool that size would cost a fortune, they should keep there comments to themselves no everyone wants to know how they are feeling. Other than that a really great time.
See you next year.

Amazing hotel, rooms were lovely....we had two rooms next door to each other with a view of the beach! The beach was fantastic...MAHMOUD took care of us every day...he deserves a promotion!
The food was nice lots of variety, just make sure you get there on time. The pool was lovely and the staff at the pool bar and reception were very friendly and helpful!

The water in the pool is cold... Food is poor, Sun 6am till 5pm only.
The best was the animation team "Seven Stars" they were really awesome! nice shows in the evening, enough action during the day.
The beach bar is not good, only open when the sun is up...
Beer is better then other hotels or countries, almost same quality as Belgian beer!

Room Tip: Rooms on the beach are the best

Just returned from 2wk family stay, weather amazing!the hotel grounds are beautiful and its location with beach makes it that bit special. Rooms are a little tired and main restaurant, although staff and food good could be improved upon to give it less of a canteen feel-particularly when Russian guests arrived-bedlam!
Pool bar and Italian were brilliant,Eid was fab with kids also walid and Mohammad in olivios!
Unfortunately after a fabulous week the hotel decided to sack the exotic treat entertainment team half way through the day?!?!our children were gutted as they'd been having a fantastic time with oleta in the kids club!
I felt the treatment of the hotel in this instance appalling, they need to not only respect staff better but also consider guests. If they would have consulted the majority of guests they would have known how much the exotic treat team were liked!
The atmosphere after this was poor and particularly the kids were ready for home!another team came in all Russian, and could not be compared with exotic treat!they didnt even run or attempt to do kids club and favoured Russian guests,in comparison with exotic treat who had mixture of nationalities.
We were also disgusted with the hotel clinic!please do not use this facility! After a nite arrival my 4yr old woke in tears with ear infection, been our 1st time in Egypt we went straight to hotel clinic for advise rather than venture out, after quick examination and anti biotics we were told to return in the evening to discuss payment. We did and were billed £120! I refused to pay but he kept stating use insurance?!i wanted to pay cash as it wasnt worth excess. After speaking to hotel manager the matter was sorted,as a parent I feel it was disgusting to take advantage of a poorly child, you would do anything for them not to be ill and some people would have just paid it when u can buy antibiotics over the counter across the road for £5!
Overall we had good holiday. If you are travelling out dont forget mosquito repellant ext cos particularly bad at mo!
