“Good all round holiday”
Reviewed 21 April 2012

Right here we go an honest review, The hotel its self is in an ideal spot with 2 lovely pools and own private beach, you don't even have to take towels you get a token for one towel each day for the beach or pool, One day we had the jungle pool all to ourselves very nice the staff are all really friendly, if you give them a nice smile that goes a long way and they smile back, we couldn't believe how rude some of the guests were and then wondered why the staff didnt smile i would of done exactly the same !!! The food !! ok not the best in the world but you could always find some thing to eat the pizza on the beach were very nice, The puddings were lovely, The drinks the staff are more than happy to fill up up a bigger cup if you take one along, Use the local transport for going into Naama Bay just hale the little blue buses down they will pick you up and drop you wherever for about 10 egyptian pound a lot cheaper than taxis. If you book any trips Nani and Marco are the people to do it with they have a little hut by the main pool they are great and really look out for you, The quads bikes are definately worth doing along with camels bedium dinner and star gazing, snorkelling off the pier is a MUST you see some great fish I would invest in a underwater camera to take with you. The reception staff are great and really helpful, The Indian resturant is worth a visit nice food, Have a pedicure done wuth Adam and his team and eye brow threading, Think i have covered it all , we had a great holiday and really looking forward to going back Thanks Hauza Beach

Well, after reading all the bad review I started to worry a bit, some people sound like they just winge at anything. I have just returned after a week with my husband and 11 year old son and we had a fab time. Rooms r clean and tidy, need updating but hey, we only slept and got changed in there so didn't bother us..cleaner was so friendly and lovely. Food was nice, I am a fussy eater but I found plenty to suit me, . The grounds are beautiful , the beach was beautiful too. Everyone makes you feel welcome . It was red hot too and I love it as I like it hot, if u don't like the heat then Egypt isn't for you. I shall be returning in August as we enjoyed it that much..

we have just got back from this hotel and i have to say i didnt read the reviews before we booked and i admit I panicked when i read them (bad food, miserable people, staff unhelpful, rooms awful blah blah) but when we arrived we had a wonderful suprise ,everbody greeted us with smiles and bent over backwards to make sure we had a fab time.ok the bathroom was a bit shoddy but the grout on the tiles certainly wasnt going to ruin our holiday, it was very clean as was the room(ali the cleaner made sure of that!)we are a family of 4 including a girl of 14 and a boy of 10 and we've always gone AI to many countries and this is the first time the kids havent struggled to find a food that they like, yes the food is repeated every 5 or 6 days but it also would be if you stayed in a hotel anywhere. The animation team were great especially marie who adopted my son for our entire holiday!! we booked a trip through our rep only to find out 2 days later from alex (one of the men from around the pool)that he does exactly the same one with the same organisation for £30 cheaper! so we booked our next one with him.obviously you get people aprooaching you around the pool but with a polite no thanx they leave you alone if you want total peace and quiet there is a section of the beach called quiet beach and it is exactly that.we didnt get the pharoahs revenge or bad tummies our rep said if you use hand sanitiser every time before you eat and after you handle their money you should be fine and we were.trips-we flew to cairo (about £150 per adult)it took 45mins on airplane or you could travel by coach(£100)and it takes 9hours to get there.it was fantastic to see the pyramids, sphynx museum etc and if you listen to your guide you're very safe.quad biking in the sinai desert is a must to watch the sunset even though at first i didnt want to go.soho is amazing at night to watch free shows.the beer is quite suprisingly good and i do agree take your own cups/beakers and if you are friendly ali and mustafa(wonderful barmen at the pool bar)will bring drinks to your table oh nearly forgot eating pizza on the beach is great and the snorkelling is brilliant.

Had week beginning April and for the money excellent. We have been to sharm on numerous occassions and didnt expect the advertised five star experience so wasnt dissapointed food ok but repetitive hotwel pool constantly being cleaned and leaved fished out. Location good for airport transfer (8 minutes) but down side aeroplanes constantly taking off overhead. If you want genuine five star book the Baron or four seasons but pay atleast twice as much we did the oposite and had the difference in spending money few meals in Narma Bay to break up the monotony To summarise good value holiday pay more and get more the choice is yours

I'm not a long review writer but will cover all in brief. Feel free to message for details.

Room - Clean, tidy, no issues. Friendly people serving the rooms. Comfy enough bed, nice balcony. Not very modern and not pretty to look at/be in, but fine.

Service - Didn't get a good vibe from the majority of staff there, although a minority were superb. On our first evening we searched the large grounds the resort holds, and we were 'named' english, 'hey english come over here'. Seems so rude and unwelcoming, beware of these people in the tent as they don't work for the hotel are just want to rob you for commission.
You should have a rep in the hotel and a meeting the first morning you're there, get excursions from him.

Excursions - The trips that this rep who works for the hotel offers are awesome, the best part of our holiday. We did an all day trip called the Fantastic Four. A safari ride across the desert was so fun, felt like rallying! Then stopped for bedwin tea. Then went snorkelling which was okay, not the best reef, and then had a camel ride along the coast which was lovely. Lastly we stopped at a lake which was the bluest water i've ever seen and was so warm - beautiful. Definitely recommend this trip.
Would also quadbiking which was great fun also, but very hot in the desert obviously, and this was late June. Waterpark about an hour away good fun with many slides.

Location - Good place to get to lots of excursions. Lovely beach generally. Only a few local shops over the road but handy despite lack of variation including an internet cafe if desperate.

Facilities - Decent facilities, the resort is huge, perhaps too big but never mind. Jungle pool is a nice place to be if main pool gets a bit busy. Lots to do if you like to stay at the hotel. Go and buy a snorkelling kit across the road from the hotel for £3 and snorkel on the private beach for free. Even feed the fish with boiled eggs from the buffet to see lots of colourful fish!

Food - Worst bit about the holiday. Buffet food is extremely boring, bland, same every 2 days, no flavour or just tastes like salt. Expect lots of rice and chicken. Felt like ration food not 5 star food. My girlfriend and I also got food poisoning, so were taking a lot of tablets the last few days and were glad to have some food once we got back in the UK. Nevertheless, the a la carte indian set meal restaurant was quite nice and much more tasty.

Drink - Stupid system. Give you small plastic cups to try and save on not dishing out supplies so if you want a drink, you have to ask for like four, which when carrying four plastic cups if obviously annoying. Spirits are just the worst, literally bring with you if you drink them, but beer is okay luckily.

Service - As mentioned the gang of people selling in a tent are awful avoid at all costs just don't bother unless you want to be named 'english' everyday. Rep was lovely and the reception and room staff were friendly enough. You will get pestered by people even if you're half asleep on a sun bed trying to get sold things, even getting a slap or you're sunglasses removed - quite frustrating and rude.

Hmm, had more to say than I thought.
Overall okay, but it's just not a 5*. Excursions the best, food awful. People inbetween.
Wouldn't return but some good memories despite this :)

Room Tip: Rooms nearer the sea obviously but not sure how to guarentee this.
