Came back from the Hauza 10/11/2009 we stayed for 2 weeks. Dont believe all that you read try it for yourselves. The staff are are lovely did not find any staff rude at all. The food in the time that we was there did not repeat itself. It catered for everyone. You could always find something to eat. If you want only British food stay in England, dont forget there are other nationalities there as well. The only downside to the hols was the Russians who are so rude its unbelievable but its not the hotels fault. The beach was amazing it had its own lagoon, if your not a strong swimmer like me its great because you can still see all the amazing fish. The animation staff but a show on every night its was great for the people who had children because they had their own entertainment at night and in the day time. While we was there myself and my husband celebrated our birthdays they presented us both with birthday cakes the waiters brought it to us singing in Egyptian and banging a drum it was a nice touch. I read so many bad reports about the Hauza tat I was dubious about going I glad that I went. Looking forward to going back next year. Well done the Hauza staff.

I will attach pictures for proof... I have loads of photos, if you want to see more, feel free to contact me.

To all that gave this [--] a great review, you must have been from another planet or just came out of a 3rd world country. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but to be honest, I have been in better 3rd world countries...

From having dirty bed linen, to degraded condition of the buildings and having to walk in the sea without shoes is a definate hazard, the list is as long as moby dicks appendix... The "lovely" beach as they put it is full of rocks/dead corals and is not for a person that likes sand between their toes. No bank in the resort or anywhere to pay with card. Not all inclusive, had to pay for coffee, juice, water and proper wine since the wine they had there came from Uranus. It was that bad!!

Anyone who has reviewed this Hotel in a positive light, must have done so under the pretense of it being a 2 or 3 Star resort. 5 Star is an absolute joke and I'm not fussy but this is just the way it is. To top it off the staff were about as friendly as tube commuters on a monday morning.

Don't waste you time, don't waste your money.

If your idea of a holiday is standing in a line to wait for a plastic cup of beer whilst deafening, inappropriate, distorted music is blasted out around the pool this may just be you dream resort. The music starts at around 10 am and goes all day through until about midnight, there is no escape.

We decided quickly on the first day to head down to the beach. The beach was ok but every 10 minutes you were disturbed by a member of the hotel staff trying to sell diving trips, snorkelling trips, massages. Some of the hotel staff were pleasant but most of the male staff spent the day ogling female guests and making inappropriate comments in Arabic. My girlfriend found it repulsive, as did I.

The beds are terrible, the toilets don’t flush properly. The areas around the water features at the hotel stank of raw sewage. The food in the buffet was the worst I have ever encountered. I was sick for the first 4 days and then ate out of the hotel and recovered.

We booked this holiday because it was 5 star and reasonable. Do your self a favour and pay another £100 to go to a western branded hotel, do not use the Hauza Beach hotel. It’s a disgrace.

Clean, great food (there's something for everyone), 24 hour bar and snacks, great water slides, the most curtious and helpful staff I think Iv'e ever encountered. Fabulous beach with pizza bar and drinks bar. Snorkelling from the pier is second to none, its awsome! Would definitely go back again and plan to do son in Feb/Mar. Re-furbs should be finished by then so can't wait.

Service at the Hotel was exceptional from all the staff, could not do enough for us.
Our Room was excellent with two Double Beds, loads of space to move about - very clean and plenty of Cool Air from a good AirCon system.
The Hotel was emense - a very large pool area, 3 handy shops on site, Main Restuarant served excellent Food, there was always Outside Cooking and inside always a Carvery being available, remember this Hotel is multi-National not just British like Benidorm.
With their own Beach with a jetty to see all the Tropical Fish - better than what I seen on Boat Trip to Ship Wreck - even in the shore area there are Fish a plenty to see whilst learning with your Snorkel which is a must. Can buy locally about a £5.
If you get to much hassle at Naam Bay which is the entertainment centre going left back passed the Airport which cost the 3 of us £22 return from hotel reception then get a Cab to La Strada only £12 return, smaller than Naam Bay but everything is there.
Just remember your in the Desert and enjoy yourself, we enjoyed every minute.

Sometimes my fellow Brits get me down! My partner and i staid here for 6 nights at the end of October, the hotel itself cost us as £150 each for 6 nights. That works out at £25 each per day. For that you get a room, all you can eat, and all you can drink, 2 great swimming pools and excellent snorkeling. seriously what do people expect for their money??? Yes the food was a touch on the bland side, but there was plenty of it and I always found something I liked at every meal. Yes the drinks came in small cups, so what, get 2,3,4..10 cups, go back as many times as you like, it doesnt matter. Yes the rooms are a little dated, but ours was spacious, cleaned daily, had a great view of the ocean, and was exactly what you would expect for the money. All day by the pool I could hear brits moaning about things, it was embarassing. I think a lot of people in this country take leave of their senses when they book a holiday, they part company with a modest sum of money, and expect the earth for it, they expect fine dining, to be waited on hand and foot, and to have nice modern rooms and hotels, with deserted pools and bars so they never have to wait for anything. Back in the real world the Hauza is great value for money for what you pay for it. As with most things in life you get what you pay for, if you book here dont expect 5* because you will not be paying nearly enough for true 5*. If you dont like it try the Burj or Atlantis in Dubai, it might meet the average tightwad brits expectations, but sadly for them it will mean parting with a bit more cash.
