A 2 week holiday with our 13 year old son in the last 2 weeks of July. Our room was a family suite which was huge, seperate sleeping areas which was ideal, both with their own TV so a bit of privacy. Biggest room we have had at any hotel. It was situated above the main restaurant and near the evening 24hr bar but never any noise to keep you awake. The hotel itself was excellent. The Aqua Park is fantastic, friendly lifeguards on hand allowing you to be able to relax and let your children loose. A great entertainment team who always stop for a chat but also dont hassle you to get involved. (Mario & Bob - special mentions). The sunbeds are very comfy and the lifeguards are on hand to get these for you every morning (a litle tip every few days was enough). Plenty going on around the pool to keep you entertained.

I thought the drinks were good, plenty of choice. May be an idea at the bars to just have a seperate fridge full of bottles of water so you can help yourself so that the queue for the bar can be reduced. Beer and spirits were decent enough.

We did the quad bike trip which we booked with Mohammed Ali (not the boxer) from around the pool. Very good trip and gets you out of the hotel for a few hours. We did the 3:30pm time so you get a bit of the sunset in the desert. Would recommend this trip. A very good few hours.

We also booked some packages from the Spa which were enjoyable too.

A few of the negatives - Having stayed in plenty of all inclusives, on the whole we were not too impressed with the Main Restaurant. Nobody to greet you and sit you down, meaning you are at times hunting for a table, then hunting for someone to make it up with cutlery etc. A minor thing but just gives a feel of disorganisation. We felt the food was repetive and this was not helped by the fact that my wife and I had 'Egyptian Belly' for the whole holiday. You expect this may happen for the 1st day or 2 whilst you get used to the heat and the different foods, but this lasted the whole holiday. We have no idea why we felt like this, trying to avoid different foods at different times to see if it was down to one type of thing or not, however unfortunately, it became apparent that everyone we met had or was still suffering the same as us.

On the whole the majority of the staff are very friendly. We had 2 cleaners, firstly Ibrahim who was fantastic but then he went off for a few days and was replaced by another guy. Unfortunately we then had a small amount of money stolen from my wifes purse in her bag in the room. Thankfully most of our money and belongings were stored in the safe. The next day we left her bag and purse empty but in a particular way, again, when we got back to our room, her bag and purse had been opened. Just a warning to never leave anything out.

The hotel location is away from the main parts meaning there is nowhere to go unless you take a taxi. We missed not being able to nip out after our evening meal just to take a walk which meant that the nights felt really long as you were restricted to the hotel. We took a taxi to Nabq bay centre twice and also to Soho Square during our stay. The taxi from the hotel was reasonably priced and very prompt to pick you back up.

Would we come back again? For the hotel facilities a definate yes. As I say the daytimes were excellent. Having read some reviews before we went, these did not say too much of people being unwell, so maybe during our stay, a lot of the English were unlucky. This is what would put me off returning which is a shame as if we had not felt unwell, I think we would have returned.

As I write back on so many positive reviews, the entire team and I are always sincerely delighted to know that we manage to meet the expectations of our guests and are proud that our efforts and work were recognized and appreciated.
However I would also like to take this opportunity to apologize about the inconvenience caused at the main restaurant .we try very hard to make sure that this detail is taken care of.
I do thank you for highlighting the matter as I believe the more prepared our guests are the better their experience is!
Looking forward to welcome you back at Sea Club Aqua Park
Thank you once again & kind regards

Good hotel nothing outstanding but rates equal with aqua blue sharm.

Go with English coins for tipping or you'll use you Egyptian notes we ended up tipping with 50 Egyptian at the start as these were a smallest notes.

Food okay always something to eat us adults got the Egyptian belly but only lasted a couple of days and a lot of people all got it at the same time.

Drinks okay cola not the best but the diet coke is real.

Rooms a good size we had a family suite the beds were fantastic these rate higher than any all inc we have stayed out. tip the cleaners when you arrive and have great towel art each day these guys work 12-14 hours a day 7 days a week they'll happily take the English money.

Tip one of the lifeguards and they'll look after you all holiday with bed reservations these guys will always greet you with a smile and play with the kids.

Slides are great not massively strict on age on the slides good smaller kids area aswell.

Animation team are fab mario was our smallests favourite your not hassled to much to get involved.

Evening programme good nothing spectacular but fun the mini disco is the best we have experienced different each night.

Sea life beach fantastic for snorkelling just be careful where you eat the food if you have a yellow towel don't put it near a pool or your asked to leave.

We Went on the quad bike trip good fun you do get hassled to buy photos but the trip is cheap so we did pay. Also went to the go kart track as part of the trip good fun a few more laps would have been better.

Overall 3.5 good fun friendly workers, management a bit moody. We won't return as they're to many other places to try.

We stayed here for 2 weeks mid July to end of July. As soon as we entered, check in was fast and the porter took our bags to our room. We had a family room - the beds were very big and very comfortable. Nice Egyptian cotton bedding! Air-con was needed as it was baking hot during our stay. The bathroom/shower great and very big. TV in the room etc. The cleaning standard was excellent and it was great to have a laundry service (very cheap for a bag of washing and all pressed - took from your room and brought back - with dresses etc on hangers. The layout is great, making it easy to get around the complex. Very safe for the kids - as nobody is getting in or out without getting checked by security. The Wi-Fi is a bit rubbish, but I personally didn't go away to be on social networks etc. We did get on the Wi-Fi in reception. The food was fine in my opinion and there was always plenty of choice. Lots of different salads, soup, rolls everyday and fresh pasta being cooked every day. The main restaurant had a theme each day - Seafood, Italian, Asian, around the world etc. Then there is the Italian and Indian, which you need to book a day in advance, but no limit as to how many times you can use these.

The staff have got to be the most attentive and friendliest anywhere I have been. Mahmoud in the main restaurant (whom I knicknamed David Walliams!) And Taher Sabagh also in the main restaurant was very friendly and attentive. They just couldn't do enough for us - I kept thinking they can't keep this friendliness up - but they did. It was Ramadam when we were there and I can't believe how they kept going with no food or drinks in that heat and still all smiles.

Foxy was lovely and always running around with drinks and making sure you had plenty. The non-stop animation team are fantastic and kept things going all day long.

It's a kids paradise with all the slides etc and with lifeguards on hand you can relax some.

I used the spa - had 4 massages and a body scrub/sauna treatment - it was all fabulous and highly recommended. I did have a medium massage one day, but had to go for the soft after this.

Matrix is a real character and had us in stitches with some of the stuff he came out with. Had BOGOF treatments also - pedicure (much needed), facials (threading) and very nice it all was.

Sams shop has lots of goodies (chocolate) and not a "rip -off". There are lots of trips to go on, Hollywood is good - we went with Mohammed Ali - not the boxer!, Also went to Soho Square and a camel ride for 2 was £100 Egyptian...

I can't really say a bad word about the hotel to be honest and cannot see how people can complain about the food - it wasn't al a carte, but didn't expect al a carte for what we paid £17.50 per person per day...

The hotel is on the flight path - but didn't bother us too much!

Room Tip: Block B Room 0122 -2nd floor and no lift.

when we arrived at the hotel we was greeted by the luggage sevice who quickly sorted out our cases, the were very friendly and polite. Reception desk sorry ive forgot the man on front desk but he was always smiling and checked us in in no time and we was escorted to our rooms.
The room was lovely massive bed and two singles with a massive bathroom, wardrobe safe mini bar coffee and tea making facilities re stocked daily as we used coffee every day and always restocked whenever we returned to our rooms. samsung flatscreen tv on the wall in main bedroom, we took a usb stick loaded with movies and it worked which was great for the kids to watch a movie, they have some english channels on there also mtv amercan got talent and some movies on channel 47. we had a balcony of the main bedroom looking out onto the kids pools which was fab. and aircon which is needed.
The room cleaners did a wonderful job and we could always smell cleaning fluids after they had been in so we knew they had cleaned an not just made our beds. Fresh towels everyday and towel art on our beds was great. we left a little tip for the room cleaners as they did a brilliant job.
We also used the laundry service which was fantastic, fast service all our clothes were ironed and dresses hung and covered we was very pleased witht this service we used it twice and how lovely is it to retun home and be able to unpack straight back into our wardrobes. We also tipped our laundry man for his services was very polite and happy.
The waterpark was brilliant and the kids loved it even my 6 year old went on all the slides even the tsunami slide the younger kids pool was great aswell for him and we had our sunbeds by this pool everyday, although 2 of the days we struggled to find a bet but the lifeguards soon found 4 beds and sorted them out for us, they even changed our towels for us, they were all lovely and were great with the children, they joined in water wars around the pool as did the waiters and even some of the managers lol. There was an incident while we was there where a boy fell of the side of the slide but this wasnt the hotels fault. This did make me more weary with my 6 year old though as older kids arent as cautious about their safety. However the pool areas are brilliant, and cannot fault any of the areas.
The animation team are fab and me an auntie christina loved watching marios belly dancing every morning hes such a good mover lol .. Bob eden neno and all the others were great to always so good with the kids and loved stealing my sons cap especially mario and bob lol. The water yoga and aerobics my auntie tried and enjoyed, we loved the club dances and the songs stick in your head were still singing them now were back home. We loved the water wars and was informed of this event with a letter in our rooms so if we didnt want to join in we could choose an area to sit and not get soaked but we loved it and joined in. So nice to see everyone adults staff and all kids enjoying their selves.
The waiters worked so hard day in day out and considering it was ramadam for them they were fab especially hussein (foxy). He was one hard worker always happy dancing singing smiling and very fast service. We tipped everyday because honestly we think we work hard here not a patch on what they do day in day out. in the heat.
The lemon ice tea is so refreshing we drank that most days, the kids loved the milkshakes and kids cocktails.
The pool bar served hotdogs pizza burgers chips ect and we honestly had no food thrown at us like the other review says we found the staff great and happy. Even noticed the egg chef from breakfast working on there. The other pool bar serves up fresh fish pieces and chips but i wasnt keen on the fish probably because we are used to eating rubbish white fish here over there really tasted like sea fish if that makes sense, but i enjoyed the white fillet of fish they served at tea time in main area.
Honestly i dont know how people complain about the food choice and quality in this hotel because theres always something unless you just love moaning and are the worlds fussiest eater.
Ill start at breakfast times chef cooking eggs however you want them poached fried omlette, there was scrambled and boiled already cooked. There was cereal selection, fruit yougurts ect beef bacon which was tasty and chicken and beef mini sausages. A good selection of danish pastries cakes and fresh waffles and pancakes being served. We always had our breakfast in the indian and the staf are so lovely ahmed and his team in their are lovely.
Dinner time There was options of the indian restaraunt which served up few different dishes like koftas pastas chicken ect (not indian in day time but english can use this area to dine). The pool bars which i mentioned before, the main dining area which served so many different dishes i really cant see why people cant find no food they like. They had a chef making fresh pasta dishes spag bol carbonara ect they had a chef on the grill serving diff things from chicken, fillet fish, meatballs, they had liver one day and it was lovley nicest liver ive tasted to be honest.
They had cold pastas and lovely salads i enjoyed the steak salad and the chicken and apple salad. They had soups fresh breads, a chef making sandwiches and they had selection of hot meals like fried chicken, chicken stuffed with rice which i really enjoyed, beef dishes ect the cakes we found a little dry apart fro the coconut cake lol we even took a few slices to our room to enjoy with a coffee. always fresh fruit available aswell.
Tea time dining - The main dining area had a bbq outside which was lovely on the occasions i tried it fresh chicken and beef i tried which was lovely. There was also plenty going on inside pasta chef grill chef different theme every night chef making fresh pizzas one night a week and burgers, fajitas, big hotdogs chinese stif fry which was lovely, fresh cold sanwiches smoked salmon cream cheese bagels, hot meals lasagne, chilli, mousakkas lamb and beef dihes sushi cold salads and pasta dishes. The mango ice cream was very nice and the hotel should have ice cream every day all day which they dont which is a shame. The service in the main hall very good mahmoud your a lovely man and ive forgot the other mans name sorry sure it begins with a T lol always serving us drinks.
We also went to the italian on two occasions and the food was lovely we had the beef and chicken and the service was great. fresh bread was nice too.
We tried the indian also and this was very nice too but this was more of a buffet style but food lovely and fresh indian bread and dip and we can have as many breads as you want they kept bringing more for us.
Then Matrix well what can I say had me and my aunti has he would say in stitches just loved it when he come over we just laughed with him we evn had facials and pedicures done. He made us laugh with his singing aswell keep trying matrix u will get o xfactor one day hahaa
Mohamed ali (not the boxer) loved my lad. We booked to swim with dolphins with mohamed from red sea divng and we loved it although it was only 15 mins long and cost me £180 but its an experience we loved.
Sams shop had what we needed and always giving us free crisp or oreos and lollies for the kids when we bought things, he gave us 2 free fridge magnets and a toblerone for my kids when we was leaving.
Sambo the oil shop put some cream on my daughters leg when she got bit and that really helped so cheers sambo hes got the funniest laugh in egypt lol me and my son never got bit but my daughter did and auntie but sams has some spray called off which also helped.
sambo also put some aloe vera cream on me and i never got burnt, he even made us egyptian coffee while we was in his shop.
The entertainment was ok fire show comedy show ect which the kids enjoyed but we were happy to sit and chill on the terrace bar listening to the singers lol The main terrace had a mini stand serving cocktails and irish coffee on diff days flaming ouzo ect which were nice.
Really we had a wonderful holiday and honestly the staff are none stop the cleaners of al areas are always there we even laughed one night saying soon as you drop a crumb the cleaner was there with his brush lol. How can people moan when i worked it out the cost per day per person was £17.50 each and for everything you get at that price find a hotel in england that offers that
a waterpark alone cost about 16 pound per person in egypt.
The pool party was fun kids loved it and we loved the atmosphere.
Me and my daughter did get belly troubles but we got some tablets from the chemist and it sorted it out and sorry to the people who blame the hotel but it must be every hotel in egypt then because majority of people get some kind of dodgy tummy, my son ate what we did and never got anything so think it depends. We always washed our hands and used sanitiser. This didnt spoil our holiday not in the slightest.
overall we had a wonderful time and would i return 100 percent yes, i wouldnt return to this hotel as a couple with no kids but with my 2 kids i defo would.
We met some lovely english couples here and we even went to soho square and hollywood with them so hi Elaine and Gareth emily and ben if you ever come across our review lol.

Thanks to all the staff at sea club aqua park you made our stay a wonderful one please ignore the bad reviews i think some people just love to complain about anything, I could sit and write more about the hotel but ive said loads now lol ill leave my auntie christina to write her review and see what she thinks and also my 12 year old so the children can see how much she enjoyed it.

one last thing we went to the sister hotel and the beach was lovely fish ect but we felt the staff werent as nice and the hotel not so child friendly as the aqua park.

Room Tip: we requested a pool view room and got that B1 block one room 0122

Our family of 4 got home at 3am this morning. First off, we had the most amazing time helped along majorly by the employees on site- they are all amazing with the kids and are the most friendly bunch I have personally ever come across. I want to start by thanking some individuals who we will never forget. Our regular lifeguard EMAD has to be first, his playful nature and dedication to playing with our children and ourselves was unreal and our two children 7+8 keep asking me already when we are going back to see him! Also the lifeguard ESLAM ensured daily that our towels were on our beds and that if ever we needed help in any way he was always around to assist. Our cleaner AMR did a great job every day cleaning our room which was large as a Family room and spotless each day. Also with no prompting we had a nice surprise in our room the night of my wifes birthday - we went out to the pool in the morning and when we came back to our room we found a birthday cake had been arranged in our room and also some excellent towel art including a cake model, heart shape and wine bottle with petals and the birthday cards dotted around the bed, a very nice touch and very thoughtful, thank you. Another top man was also named AMR who worked in the Aqua Park restaurant and Italian restaurant (Amr - I hope you enjoyed seeing your wife who I know you missed dearly working away from her and your child ) he worked tirelessly to serve us drinks every day and be playful and joke with all four of us, we will miss his smile and playful nature very much. In the main restaurant were two chaps both named Mohamed - one worked the front part and one worked towards the rear during our stay, both excellent hosts and always willing to help find you a table, making sure it gets laid out quickly for you and getting drinks for you. All of the above people were genuinely interested in our life and all started by saying 'Welcome to Sharm, we hope you like it here" We did and I enjoyed talking to each and every one of you even though Mohamed at front restaurant supports Man U!! I did tip all of the above people but this is irrelevant to their performance and their genuine wish to make our stay as nice and comfortable as possible.
Outdoor pool Waiters - excellent with bringing along random cocktails on a tray and handing them to you with no expectation of a tip, we re not big drinkers but were well stocked every day by Hoosein (alright geezer!) who was mostly happy but gets stressed when busy behind the bar. They also take orders whilst walking around every day and don't stop working very hard to make sure everyone is looked after. The drinks variety was good for us and the kids- some useful drink names for kids and non alcohol drinks include Tom&Jerry, Cinderella, Sunshine and a Florida, there may be more! Also have choc and strawberry milkshakes. There are ice creams available which they charge for and in my view should of been included within the all inclusive package and cost from £1 to £1.50. I stuck to beer or shandy so can't comment on the spirits side of it. Now onto the sales people - the best has to be YONIS and SAM from the Spa, lovely guys, not pushy at all and I ended up becoming good friends with them. We even got to meet some of their family which was lovely. These two guys also work less hours than the other staff but nevertheless have a thankless task trying to sell treatments on an all inclusive site - we did the cleopatra package which was good fun and the kids also had a chocolate scrub and massage plus jacuzzi which they both loved! I had a aftersun treatment when I got burnt one day and it really helped. To show the dedication of the staff , I did not get what I was meant to have on this occasion so Yonis came down to apologise and stayed behind with me after his finish time of 5pm to give me the correct package and he did not leave until I was finished which was close to 6pm as he wanted to make sure I got what I paid for- thank you Yonis. My wife also had two head massages , the first was nice but not firm but her second one was more enjoyable, just a lottery as to what masseuse you get I guess and whether their style suits what you want/expect. The scuba diving salesman Mohammed Ali (not the boxer) was also not pushy and we took on the scuba diving trip which my wife loved and so did I but another trip beat it for me personally. On the scuba trip we were taken by transfer to Sharks Bay, got onto a very nice boat with a shaded upper floor which was well needed, The first of our three stops on the boat trip was not great in terms of being organised chaos. I have a 7 year old who was given an oversized life jacket (because the salesman on our site did not explain you have to pay extra for a life jacket and book it in advance-this did irritate me) and this kept riding over his head in the water and made it uncomfortable for him, also one of the guides on the boat said he would go with my child but we lost him within seconds of getting in the water as he went off with a life ring and four to five other kids hanging off of it. I felt their was not a good enough ratio of guides to children at this point. However, my wife and I both did a 25 minute scuba dive which was amazing and we got a DVD of some underwater photos which are cool but at £30 seemed a bit pricey to me. The lunch on the boat was not enjoyable for me but my wife thought it was okay, not a great variety or choice for kids either, very bland and when they tell you there is unlimited drinks - there are not, so make sure you stock up with your own juice/bottles of water etc. I would take snacks as well if you have hungry kids who are fussy eaters as well. The second and third stops on the trip were okay and we snorkelled as a family and got to see some excellent fish/coral etc luckily my youngest was brave enough to get back in, thanks to the help of the guy who disappeared first time round and made a concerted effort to make sure the second stop was better for us than the first - thank you to him. We drove by the ship wreck which was cool and was lucky enough to spot two wild dolphins who put on a little show for us - amazing to see. Another salesman from a safari firm whose name escapes me sold us the best experience of the holiday which was the quad biking safari to include a camel ride, dance show, buffet dinner and star gazing. This cost us £100 for the four of us and lasted almost 6 hours and was brilliant. My wife and I had a quad each and the boys at in front of us and loved it. We was quad biking easily for at least two of the six hours and had a great time - I won't say much about this, just do it! The sales guys are around the pool every day so make sure you get hold of them. Back to the hotel and staff I should mention the photographer ABDO (excuse me!) who was great fun and again was playful, a good laugh and interacted well with everyone and got some great shots of us all and took some brilliant family photos at night by the fountains and pool, the photos look very professional and what they can't do with air brushing ain't worth mentioning! Lastly but by no means least the ANIMATION TEAM - the team consists of boys and girls who work very hard to keep smiling, making us all smile and have a good time, the girls tend to run the kids club side of things and a couple of other activities and the boys run the rest. We interacted mostly with MARIO (This guy is awesome and I will miss him, a lovely lad, who has dance moves to die for!) and TOOSHA (This guy speaks every language going and is also very cool but he stitched me up by getting me to belly dance in the middle of others and he dragged the song out big time!) along with Ninno and Bob who were also great guys, thanks for always making us feel part of the Seaclub team, the water balloon tossing game was great fun and your efforts are very admirable as well as the entertainment you put on each night - hard working with long hours and always interacting with us all, even during their break times- these guys and girls are the heart and soul of the stay if you wish to interact in this way, also the music/dj was excellent and the pool party on a Saturday night brilliant, kids loved it. Also Various other lifeguards including those on the water slides were always welcoming, chatty, happy , funny etc.
Also, I was really impressed with the way they have layers of management checking that staff are all on top of their game, the lifeguards have a head lifeguard then the boss of the lifeguards who was always walking round and some times pulling his guys over to have words with them and get them to be more attentive or tidy up litter when it was quiet, etc. The waiters seem to also have a similar structure both inside and outside of the restaurants with head management also making regular appearances just standing by observing and taking notes which seems efficient and attentive.
A few negatives for me - To the boss of the lifeguards Ayman, I would like you to arrange through your managers above you proper lifeguarding training to include first aid. It is not enough to expect your staff to be lifeguards without arming them with the right training to do the job they do. The little boy who fell off the slide and fractured his skull had been attempted to be shoulder carried by a lifeguard until a holidaymaker told him to put him down - not the lifeguards fault who clearly has not had any training but they must at least learn the recovery position and to check airways, breathing, signs of consciousness etc. For a hotel that is run very well with a good hierarchy in place this element is not good enough and needs urgent attention in my view. However, the lifeguards are playful and happy despite the long hours in the heat and try to do the very best they can, I take my hats off to you all and hope you get more help from those above you. Also , parents should be mindful of not letting their kids run up slides the wrong way, the lifeguards at times were fighting a losing battle - step up and help stop accidents occurring. On a lighter note we regularly saw lifeguards and waiters getting involved in water fights with each other and the holiday makers which was great to see and be part of, my wife regularly got soaked whilst trying to relax which she found funny, if you don't want this sort of thing, keep your head down or head to the quite pool, area by the wave pool or back rows of the kids aqua park that back onto the Spa and Doctors. Waiters with the restaurant
The WiFi and internet in the lobby and reception is bad and very patchy at best.
Their was an occasion one day where a load of day visitors were allowed in which caused a day of mayhem but after some feedback to management they nipped it in the bud within hours and the next day was back to normal, hats off to you for listening to your clients concerns and wishes.
I'm tired now but overall - we loved it and are already pricing up a return next year, thanks to all those mentioned for making our holiday that more enjoyable by your friendliness and hard work.

Room Tip: We had room 0121 which was above the pharmacy and near the aqua park but quiet enough away from the Ampitheatre, main builind etc, located in block B1.Top floor family room, spacious, excellent air con large shower room etc.
