Fantastic holiday and would recomend this hotel to anyone.extremely clean and the majority of staff were very friendly especially mohamed who worked in the Italian resturaunt who went out of his way to help us on a daily basis.on our last night he made a beautiful swan decoration on our dinner table out of napkins and fresh flowers. The cleaners of our rooms also left towel animals on our beds. The only downside was we did get pestered around the pool by people trying to book excursions which did become quite annoying at times.excellent facilities for young families.

Room Tip: We had a room overlooking the activity pool 425/426 which had a lovely view but wouldn't recomme...

Dear Helen,

I’m so pleased you were well looked after by the staff – we really do have some of the best staff in Sharm working here and I’m so proud of them.

In terms of the people who come around the pool trying to sell you excursions and treatments etc thay don’t wortk for the hotel. The trick is not to let them think that, well, maybe tomorrow, otherwise they will pester you. If you tell them no thanks, with a smile, straight away, they’ll leave you alone.

But I know you had a fab holiday and we want to thank you for the lovely review and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Yours sincerely,

Just to say great Staff Nice Rooms clean everywhere and well kept but the seven restaurants are all vile they seem to be catering for the Russians (ignorant Pigs) and not the British.
We stayed for 11 nights and we didn't have one good meal , one advantage though its the first time we have ever lost weight on Holiday though lol ......................
we can really recommend the spa though the massages and staff were all excellent well worth a visit.
Thankfully there was a Hard Rock Cafe to get a reasonable meal from to rescue us

Dear Chris,

I am sorry that you didn’t like to food here even though we cater for a variety of nationalities and we have 5 different themed restaurants to choose from.

Perhaps if you didn’t like the other nationalities staying here you might like to try a hotel that doesn’t have them next time.

This is a truly antiegyptians hotel, it was clear from the first moments of our stay , At the main gate of the hotel, the security when he knows that we are Egyptians, he did not allow us to enter the hotel, until he confirmed from the reception that we have a booking at the hotel….!
When I requested the receptionist about the address or phone number of Saudi airline office in sharm El sheikh, he told me “Call 140 and they will inform you”
Next day, when I requested the employee at reception to book me seats on the shuttle bus to SOHO square, he said that they do not answer the phone, yet you can take phone number and call them yourself..!
Generally, at Swimming pool and during the show, we felt like ignored, animation team never tries to communicate with us, like we are not existing.
The Game show was s typical crises, it includes nasty adult games that are not suitable in the presence of children and kids attending the show with their parents,

Other things about the hotel:
Taxi are not allowed to enter inside the hotel, at night you have to walk or to ask the employee for exception
During the Check out, the hotel will not call a taxi for you, you have one option to use the Expensive Limousine provided through a private company, if you want to call taxi , you should make this your selves, and then you have to ask for golf car to take your bags outside the hotel to reach the taxi in the street

Internet are very expensive , it cost 30 LE for 30 minutes, otherwise your have to use the free Wifi at reception area only which you have to use before 7:00 Am, Because it will be very slow due to high number of Guests using it at the same time.
Beach is not suitable for swimming at al
Tubes are very low in number, the family slides operate with three tubes only, and other slide operate with only 2 double tubes!! Russians and polish do not respect queue or other guest and they keep using the tubes and mats frequently, and Life Guard at the aqua park stay lazy on chairs all the time, and does not try to manage the queue on Water tubes, several times I notified them to organize people to ensure fair queue, they reply that Russians and polish are aggressive and we cannot talk to them

Dear Nashaat,

This is not an Anti Egyptian hotel. Never has been. Never will be.

We have rules and regulations and we apply them to all nationalities the same way. Everybody is equal.

Usually our guests arrive in transfer coaches from the airport with a rep who has the paperwork and shows it to the gate security staff who checks with the Front Office. If you had arrived with the appropriate paperwork, the security staff would have to check it with the Front Office before allowing you in. Same as with the foreigners. You will appreciate the security on the gate as it makes the hotel, where you are going to spend a few days, nice and secure so you don’t have to worry. Everybody is checked. This is normal practice in Sharm.

If you had wanted to wait while the Reception staff tried again and again to contact the Soho bus, he would have done so. But this telephone number is there for the general public so it would have been more convenient for you to make the arrangement yourself instead of waiting for the receptionist to try again in between his other jobs.

With regards to the Animation team communicating with the guests, some of the team are Egyptian so you could have spoken to them yourself. The games they play are for the majority of the guests and if you thought they were unsuitable for you, you had the choice of telling them at the time or taking your children away.

Taxis are not allowed to enter any hotels in Sharm.

Internet is free.

There are very few beaches in Sharm where you can swim directly from the beach. If this had been an important factor for your holiday it would have been advisable to check this before booking.

You will not have to call a taxi at check-out. We provide a club car to take you and your baggage to the gate and there are always taxis waiting there.

I’m sorry you didn’t like the arrangements in the Water park.

We treat all of our guests the same so your claim that we are anti-Egyptian can only be described as inaccurate at best.

Yours sincerely,

I was sold this hotel by,"if you are a foodie, this is the hotel for you".nothing could be further from the truth. The hotel is massive, and has 6 restaurants, but it's the same things over and over agin.and it's like a bun fight every meal time. There is a huge water park which was hectic with sun beds all squeezed together,we opted for the beach each day as there was never anyone there, unfortunately it is not possible to swim, the tide would be out all day and even if the tide was in,it just came up to knee deep.I can imagine if you had young children or teenagers, and they love pizza and chips ect.this would be perfect.Sadly it was anything but perfect for us.On the positive side, there is a 24 hr.medical centre,Unfortunately I was very ill and neededa drip up and lots of I.V.drugs and I could not have been happier with the medical care,it was first class.I am sorry to knock this hotel as the staff were lovely, but I would not return even if it was free!! the rooms need a good makeover, they were very clean, but lots of cracked tiles ect. In poor bathrooms.

Room Tip: You can op.for the quiet pool area, which I would advise, otherwise the main pool is manic!! I would a...

Dear Irene,

Nothing is worse than finding that you expected one thing and found something totally different. But I would ask you why your expectations were so out of line with the hotel. Everything you could possibly need to know is available online or through your Tour Operator so there should not have been any surprises.

Our five themed restaurants do not do the same thing over and over again. Italian, Asian, Indian, German, Moroccan all do very different, creative dishes and you will read that the overwhelmingly huge majority of guests love it.

The water park is far from manic – it is very well controlled by the lifeguards on duty.

However, I am delighted and relieved that the medical attention that you received was beyond reproach and I do hope you suffered no long term ill effects from your episode.

Thank you for the review and for choosing the RAM for your holiday.

We have been to Sharm before and this was our second hotel. FANTASTIC.

There are 6 restaurants to pick from and 1 Ali-Carte restaurant - all really good food - L'asiatique was a personal favourtie - Try the Saag aloo :)

The entertainment as like every other hotel around the area - however nights out are planned via these people and they are very good! (Hard Rock Cafe)

I'd recommend to go the water park a few rides but very good to kill a few hours in the afternoon - spent most of our time by the relaxation pool, as no one comes over to offer you any spa treatments (only pool)

Fantastic service by the cleaners in the hotel! always doing a great job and very worth there tips!

Lastly the waiters are very good - remember your drinks even a week after going!

Overall 5/5.

Room Tip: Pick a room 1800+ Room number.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for the wonderful review and for recommending the hotel to the other readers on this forum. I’m so pleased you had such a great holiday and have taken home some fond memories of our staff.

There is plenty of entertainment at the hotel but just down the road a little you will find the Hard Rock Café and all the usual restaurants and bars so plenty to do outside too.

Hopefully we’ll see you back here for your third visit.

First time in sharm so researched and took a chance on this hotel.
There was 6 of us in 2 rooms ( 4 + 2 ) . Obviously UK 5 star is not the same as theirs. But this would apply to all the hotels. Good points, We found it to be a Lovely clean hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, not the best of sandy beaches but was fantastic when the tide went out explore all the rock pools. The sea was like a bath and so clear. We snorkelled off the end of the jetty. quite a long walk but no rush as your on holiday and lovely looking down at the sea as so clear, but it is well worth the walk. The snorkelling was amazing. It was like swimming in a fish tank, wonderful colours and the coral looked incredible. A definite must.
The guy walking bob Marley the camel offered us good entertainment as we laid on the beach due to the breeze it was lovely and cool listening to his daily patter for people to ride his Camel. The crepes were lovely in the afternoon and a fantastic coffee bar by reception where I had many a lovely latte. The blackberry ice cream is superb. My son enjoyed the football 4.15 every afternoon. The relaxation pool was superb and spent many a day round there. There is a courtesy bus that takes you to Soho Square...well worth a visit. We also walked to Strada area for McDonalds (turn right outside of hotel and about 30 min walk) Nice walk in evening and bought a few gifts.
Bad points. the majority of food was quite bland and repetitive. Of the 10 nights was stayed we enjoyed 4 or 5 of the meals. It was like eating in a school canteen with plats and crockery being banged about as it was cleared up around you, not always a nice environment to eat in and too hot outside. You had to sometimes wait for tables, the food and drink is quite far apart which can be a pain. Several Russians who were quite rude pushing in. Our Air condition stopped working but the staff did sort it out. Ali our Rep and Lisa the Hotel Rep were there on hand to sort any problems. Thank you.
All in all it took us several days to climatise to the heat and Hotel life but the fantastic sea, swimming pools and helpful staff will entice us back again.

Room Tip: Rooms by the relaxation pool are the best ones.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to write this lovely review although I must point out that you should turn LEFT out of the hotel (to go to La Strada) and not right, as that won’t really take you anywhere very interesting.

So I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and there were a lot of reasons for you to come back. We’re looking forward to it.
