“Not for those who want to sleep!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2010

This is a nice enough hotel. Staff great and worked really hard during the storm that hit while we were there. Food ok. The big problem is the noise at night. Most (90%?) of guests are Russians on an all inclusive package that allows them to drink all night. The bar CLOSES at 7am!

Trying hard not to sound like a kill joy but the result of having the all night bar is that we were constantly woken by drunken guests visiting or returning to their rooms at all hours. Shouting and screaming in corridors, banging on doors at 3 4 5 6 in the morning every night is hard to bear. Pure hell. One British couple we spoke to were thinking about going home early because they couldn't get any sleep.

We were told that the contract with the Russians was ending soon and that things would get better. But unless you get this assurance or you are also a party animal that doesn't need any sleep, I suggest you avoid this hotel.

We stayed here over the new year and had a great time.
About 10 mins in a Taxi from the airport the Hotel is welcoming, clean and comfortable.
Typical of its type the staff are friendly and efficient, the rooms clean and nicely equipped with TV and fridge. Good sized shower room (some have baths) and in our case comfy twin beds. This was just our room of course, the Hotel is 2 former Hotels joined together and some of it is much more modern, others in our party had larger more modern rooms, some others had much the same as us.

There are many different pool areas to relax around, the entertainment staff are great, organizing different games during the day should you wish to take part, and there are plenty of bars to keep you refreshed during the day and night.

Food is again good, nothing special for Egypt but its fresh, nicely presented and plentiful, the restaurants run on the usual buffet style but never seemed to get overly busy during our stay.
The Hotel put on a massive new year party whilst we were there, this to me was fun if somewhat cheesy, the entertainment being of the "it ain't half hot mum" type, but free drinks passed the time and as said we had fun.
There is a shopping center around 5 mins in a Taxi away, and further down the road is KFC, McDonalds (who both deliver) TGI Fridays and a few other familiar food outlets.
The Hotel runs a free minibus to some local beaches and during the evenings to local shopping centers.
The only bad point for us was no WiFi, but there are a couple of public PC's in reception.

In short, clean, comfy good staff and ok food.

This was our 6th time to Egypt and 3rd to Sharm but this was by far our worst holiday. We were staying for 2 weeks but were itching to go home after 1 week and we love our holidays so that in itself says something! This hotel was the worst we've ever stayed in, some of the staff are quite rude and unhelpful and particularly the barman running the bar near the small pool who was very rude to me and in the end my husband went to the bar because I simply refused.

Whilst trying to relax by any of the pools we were constantly harassed to buy papers/magazines, take a massage (he was particularly pushy and we ended up being quite rude just to get rid of him) but even then he would be back the next day. There was also an entertainment team who again harassed the guests and seemed to do slots every couple of hours so it was hard to ignore them and relax.

The food in the main hotel was ok although didn't vary much. There were lots of Russian guests who were generally rude and would push their way in the queue. The smaller restaurant over in the adjoining hotel was nicer but this hotel was only merged with the Three Corners the week before and so not everyone was aware that this restaurant could also be used on the all inclusive package.

We mad several other problems but I just want to forget this holiday and I'm sure I've said enough for you to make up your own mind if you should choose this hotel.

After reading may negative reviews about this resort i was dreading going, i expected the worse. How surprised was i upon setting foot in this hotel. it was amazing. The photos on the website do not do it justice. It took me about an hour before i could possibly speak. the actual hotel itself is breathtaking. from the minute you step outside you are surrounded by green plant life and an abundance of pools. As it was december there were only 2 pools heated. We were lucky the block we stayed in was right at these pools. There were no arguments about sun loungers and it was fantastic that they gave you towels each day for the sun loungers. It saved you having to carry loads of stuff around with you. The rroms in the hotel were fantastic, we were placed in the new block at the back, it has been up less than a year. Rooms were very spacious and immaculate. even though it was the new block we had friends at the hotel who were in one of the older blocks and this was fantastic also. The food was well varied and plentifull. I dont eat any other meat apart from Chicken and i dont like fish yet i was still stuffed after every meal. Anyone who complains that they cant get anything to eat must be really fussy, either that or you are looking for british food all the time. We also went to the Japanese restuarant one night and that was an experience, everything is cooked in front of you and you are made a part of the process. The staff at the hotel were faultless, they couldnt do enough for you. Even the guys that came round the pool giving you free massages would spend ages talking to you even after you had told them you werent buying. they seemed to love the british folk and i can understand why. The hotel was full fo Russians, this could be quite annoying as they were loud and very aggressinve but you easily learn to ignore them. They were good sports tho in getting into the pool to make up the numbers on our volleyball team. The animation team were great, full of energy, big shout out to Nikki...
All in all i would definately go back to this hitel and we are planning on booking back up this year. We met fantastic people over there and have remained in contact with them and they feel the same also. if going shopping i would suggest old Sharm, its a nice market and yes they may shout for you to come inot their shops but after you walk by they dont chase after you. Namma bay was a bit more hectic but it your looking to eat out of the hotel for a night i would suggest coming here.
Make the effort to go to Sharks bay, shop in hotel will sell you rubber shoes and snorkel for very little. You only need to be ankle deep in sharks bay and the fish that surround you are unbelievable but walk out a bit more and it drops into a valley type where the fish are like the ones seen on tv. an experience not to be missed.
i would suggest if going to Sharm to consider this hotel. it was fantastic and ill definately be back.

Just returned from our 4th trip to this hotel. The hotel has now merged with the hotel next door. Initially, I thought this would affect the family friendleness of a small hotel like the 3 Corners Palmyra, but this is not the case, in fact I personnaly think the emergence has improved it. There is now something for everyone, a quiet place/corner for those who require it, a place for the children with the water slide, and pools in both hotels for those who want a little excitement. Guests now have a choice of 6 pools, 2 resturants, an Ala-Carte (extra) and a chinese/japenise resturant (extra). Breakfast and the evening meals are served in both resturants, with lunch only been served in the new complex.

As I have already mentioned, this is our 4th stay at this hotel, and it just gets better. Mr Khairy , the manager is still there, and as helpful as ever. There is nothing that is too much for him , and all you have to do is ask, and if he can, he will fix the problem. He now has an assistant manager, Mr El-Hady, who is very cheerful, always walking around the hotel, talking to guests, nothing is too much for him, again, as with Mr Khairy, if you have a problem, just talke to him.

There is quite a few people who I would like to mention, all of which are extremely pleasent and helpful in there own way. The first one, and probably the only person who never gets mentioned, but someone who never stops working, and that is MOSTAFA, the boy who keeps the reception are spotlessly clean. I gave him a tip when I Left, and he was very surprised to receive it, probably was the only one he has ever received, as people tend to forget him. One of the first people you will meet, is Mr Islam, the bell boy. He still continues to smile and greet evryone in a friendly manner, no matter what time of day it is. A couple of staff you will meet at the reception area are, Mr El-Sayed and Mr Osama, only two of the staff we knew before, most of the others have left, but these two, along with the rest remain extremely polite, and very helpful, no matter what the problem is. Someone who you will meet, and will not be able to miss him, because of how tall he is, is Mr Tawfik, the assistant manager of the front office. Again as with all staff, he is extremely halpful, but does tend to drink a lot of Tea!!!!

I would like to say a very big thank you to the animation team, especially TITO and Shasha, who are still there. They along with the rest of the team, bring joy and happieness to us both every day we meet them, and cannot wait to see them again.

Finally I would like to thank the chef's, especially Mr Tamer Rawash, the main chef. Should there be something you want, which is not on the menu, just ask him, or his staff, and if it is possible, they will provide it for you. and last but not least, a very big thank you to Mr Kamal, the house keeping manager, who greets us on a daily basis, and always enquires as to how our room and our stay is.

I may have missed a few people, but ALL the staff at the hotel should be proud of what they do, and that is guest releationship, THANK YOU FROM MR PETE AND MRS WENDY.
