We arrived he at 7.30pm to be greater with a smile our bag got taken strate to our room 301 which was in the perfect place (close to the pool and bar) lol... The gardens are lovely and at night even better. The first day there we chose our sunbeds and every day after that the pool boy had the same sunbeds ready every morning with fresh towels and he could not help enough. The pool bar tender Ramey and Mohammed where as frendly as there could be nothing was to much trouble for them. People say about the shopping you get hassled a lot but long as you just say NO they will leave you alone but don't fall for the will you come in my shop to sign my guest book as its just to sell you stuff (fun tho lol).. If you go over the sister hotel the beach there is a bar man called hashum he will bend over back wards to make your holiday the best it can be, back to the gardens now. The food is a little repetitive but also very nice, if you do get a little board of it there is a mc Donald's and KFC just out side and for £9british pounds you will get the biggest mc Donald's you have seen.. Make sure you take small notes £1 Egyptian pounds for tipping they are only worth 20p each to us but over there it's worth a lot to them and the waiters, barman, cleners ect will treat you like a king for this little tip..... The £1 note are hard to get hold off but as from 14th of this month I will be selling some on e bay (my name on e bay is rrwwales) that I have left over or message me on here and we will sort something out. If you leave a little tip in the room for the cleaners they will take things on your bed out of towels which looks amaxing. You will see people on camels also if you are going to have a ride or even take a picture then make sure you work out a price befor and make sure it's in Egyptian pounds as they will try to catch you that way. On the first day you arrive you will have about 6 different people come on to you at the pool to sell the excursions but after the first day they will leave you alone I highly recommend seeing jimmy and doing the quad biking over the Sahara desert its amazing you get to see the sun go down also it will cost £50 British pounds but well worth it, it you are going to do this take a scarf as the sand gets every where lol.... Overall this holiday was amazing and the gardens and the staff was 2nd to none. We had mosquito in our room one night and rang reception with in 3 min they was there spraying the room. Do not take your own mosquito spray as it will not work it will attract them as I found out but buy the one from over there as this works very very well and also very cheap. When it come to the shopping what ever the first price is that they give you if you don't get it 30% cheaper then go to another shop one othere this when you first get there and you take your suit case to the transfer but the bloke will ask you for £2 british pound per suit case just to put your suit case on say no and offer £10 egyptian pouns thats £1 say thats all you get as you have travel chq other wise he will keep on, well hope you enjoy your holiday which i know you will and any questions please feel free to ask. Colin

Room Tip: Ask for 301 it's perfect......

We stayed at the gardens resort in late April. On arrival we were thrilled it is a very attractive resort, we stayed in one of the round huts which was clean and well kept. Towels and bedding are changed daily. The pool is a little in need of some TLC. The pool bar is lovely BUT you will be eaten alive by Mosquitos in the evening, you must buy some repellant on arrival !!!!

I feel I must warn people to be very careful when eating or drinking... Never have ice in drinks, never brush teeth in tap water, I was very sick on the second day of our holiday and had to go to the clinic which is attached to the hotel, I was put on a drip and given lots of oral tablets to take, I had to go back to the same clinic on another three occasions to be again put on a drip. I have never felt so dreadful in my life, we had the pleasure of paying £750.00 medical costs and a month after arriving home I am still very Poorly and off work. Extreme physical reactions without being too graphic usually come from water or food !!! I only eat and drank in this hotel, needless to say our holiday was dreadful and to coin a phrase of another guest of this resort .... I paid be be ill ,,,

I feel this holiday destination is not worth the money it is one road with big hotels and really nothing to see other than the sea, which is not unlike Skeggy.

Let me just tell you how wonderful the staff are here. We felt like family and we will return year after year. This was our first trip to Sharm and will definitely not be the last one. Halim the pool man was our favourite and needs a special mention and also we loved the food. Garden much better than Beach in terms of atmosphere. Relaxing and quiet if you want it to be... but we had some good laughs too. Love love love!

Room Tip: No. 232 villa was fabulous - near the spa and close to dining area - also just a swim away from the...

Location.
The Laguna Vista Garden is situated in the heart of Nabq Bay, surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants including KFC, McDonalds and Starbucks, and is directly across the road from its sister hotel , The Laguna Vista Beach.
Accommodation.
The complex consists of 160 apartments made up of single and double story circular buildings topped by a thatched conical roof.
The apartments are well, if basically, furnished and comes with twin beds, satellite TV, mini fridge and walk in shower.
During our stay the accommodation was well looked after with towels and bedding changed daily and sprayed regularly to prevent mosquitoes.

Facilities.
The Laguna Vista Garden has 4 swimming pools linked by a ‘canal’ system allowing you to swim around the complex. Although the Laguna Vista Garden has no direct access to the beach guests can use the free shuttle bus or take a 5 minute walk through the The Laguna Vista Beach to reach the warm shallow water of the bay. The hotel pools are very clean and loungers and parasols plentiful.
The pool area is looked after by Elsaheed, who made sure that our loungers were out complete with towels whenever we required them, normally around 8 am, as the afternoons proved to be a little hot for me as the whole pool area is a sun trap, sheltered from the breeze that appears to blow all year round in Egypt.
The grounds of the hotel are well planted with lavender and tobacco plants filling the air with their sweet, heady fragrance, and flowering mimosa trees giving shelter to the myriad of butterflies that flit around all day.
The hotel has a small well equipped gym, and a spa offering various treatments and massage.
Day and night time entertainment takes place in The Laguna Vista Beach Hotel, which means that your time relaxing by the pool is not spent fending off the Animation Team. We did not find the lack of in-house entertainment a problem, in fact it helped towards a very quite relaxing holiday.
Food and Drink.
There is only one bar in the hotel, The Pool Bar, staffed by Kiko and Mohammed who both work very hard to make your stay memorable. The lobby and open air terrace offer those who do not wish to perch on a bar stool comfortable seating and the The Laguna Vista Beach Hotel has other bars which guests can use.
Meals are buffet style and taken in the only restaurant, although food is available at the bar during the morning and afternoon. The meals are good and varied, and on the only occasion that I had a problem (cold Veg) this was quickly taken up by the restaurant manager who then made a point of inquiring daily, as to whether or not everything was ok.
General.
All in all a very quaint, well looked after hotel with great staff that cannot do enough to help make your stay enjoyable.

We went on honeymoon for 10 days to this hotel and were pleasantly surprised on our arrival with the hotel. Accommodation was lovely and the staff. Food was terrible we ate out the last 5 nights as we could not face the repetitive food anymore. Also by reception and the bar area at night the mosquito's came out in droves. I lost count at how many times we had been bitten. I had 5 visits to the doctor’s surgery twice to go on a drip and 3 injections. Totally ruined our experience of Egypt and our honeymoon. The staff were great apart from the rep Ahmed who was useless. The pool guy El Syed was great what a star he was always joking around. As you have probably guessed we will not be returning to Laguna Vista Gardens.
