Just got back from the Park Inn, this place is definately worth a visit. If you shop around for this holiday you will find yourself a bargain for ALL INCLUSIVE. Variety of food was good and tasty, drinks (alcoholic) were not up to much, they tend to use bottled beer rather than draft which was warm at times, not something I enjoyed after lying around the pool in 45 degrees of scorching sun (lovely). Some Bar staff were friendly and some were just abrupt unless you were "female"! but on an average they were ok. The entertainment was poor and quite embarrising to watch, this takes place in the "Beduin" tent ,WARNING you may get bitten by mozzy's or fleas in here !!!!! When you venture out shopping "Keep on yer toes" these guys will do your head in, trying to get you into there shop to have a look, a polite "No thanks" usually does the trick ,however I told a couple of the shopkeepers that my wife does not like to be hassled and they backed off with an apology. Oh, they will not forget your face ! these guys remember you !
Trips: We went on the day cruise (8am - 4pm) snorkling and scuba diving in the red sea, this trip is a must with three stops to take a dip in the red sea, it cost us £90.00 for 2 adults & 1 teenager, the boat was emaculate and plenty of room to stretch out, food was good and was a plentiful supply of drinks all included in the price.
Quad biking in the desert was brilliant, 3 hours of enjoyment, cost £60.00 for two, (you will get this cheaper !) Sun glasses are a must as it gets dusty & a head scarf was supplied for us. Naama Bay in the evening is buzzing, it cost us 280 Egyptian pounds return for 10 people and the journey takes around 15-20 mins. Hard Rock Cafe in naama is chocker so if you are thinking of going allow plenty of time.
Turn left outside the Park Inn and head down to the Jasmine Center 15mins (we got a taxi, about £6.00) just past the center is a pub called "The Three Crowns" English run, great atmosphere, good cold beer, good music, a nice break from the Park Inn entertainment !The Park Inn beach is ok but no sand and shallow rocky water, this is the only place that you will get FREE ice cream on your all inclusive as you have to pay at the Park Inn resort !!! weired !! Water park kept our 13yr old son occupied most days and the slides & lazy river are very good.
Tobacco's & Cigarettes are cheap, but try them out first as there is a lot of copied brands there !!
If you have young children be careful crossing roads, some cars do not put there headlights on in the evening !!
Currency: Any currency applies here, Euro/Sterling/American Dollar.
You may encounter the dodgy belly, stomach cramps and lots of toilet trips, advice: immodium does not work very well, go to the pharmacy and ask for "ANTINAL" this works wonders !
