Food can be repeated daily, however despite this there are plenty of cheap dining out places down the road for £2 taxi and you can pick yourself a nice steak out for around £10-£12. Good all round hotel for our first trip to sharm. Great hotel for the kids, with play areas and heated pool in the winter, the massages by Masoud at the spa were the best I've ever had. Mani the hotel manager is fantastic always trying to go the extra mile to make your stay the best possible. russains, rude yes, but simply ignore them and focus more on your family time and they shouldn't get in the way (though will bump into you to get to the food). All in all we had a great stay at this hotel and other than the food, which was of good quality but the same most days, I couldn't really fault it. As I write this I'm ready to book again and have considered booking back into this hotel, however the aqua parks at the other hotels seem like more fun for our wee man who's turning 4 years old this month - so on the fence at this stage and this hotel does have great pools and slides etc - decisions decisions....

We came back on the 14th of August. We had a good time. The facilities are good. The rooms are a decent size. Good air con. Needs some finishing touches though.
Pools are good. Cleaned often. But hard to get beds. Tip the pool guy that really helps.
The food was fine. The Mexican and Indians is fab. There was always something to eat.
The WiFi is expensive and poor. £10 for 24hrs. We managed only 20 minutes connection as the server kept going down.
The public toilets were disgusting. The announcements and entertainment was in Russian. It was 2 days before we heard another British accent.
The Russians are rude, ignorant and pigs. Filling plates with food then leaving it. Queue jumping. Extremely terrible with the staff. Demanding and no manners.
However, the worse they were the better we were treated by the staff. Please and thank you goes a long way ( and a couple of quid now and then ). The staff are wonderful. Really nice people who don't deserve to be treat so bad. If the hotel had a lot less Russians in it I would go back and recommend it. But, as it is I would stay away. Such a shame. Everything seemed to cater too
their needs. I would recommend the Bedouin camp looking at the stars. The Union Jack pub up the road was great.

Family holiday 8th to 22nd August. A very unimpressive entrance and foyer leads to lovely gardens which are one of the best features of this hotel. We paid extra for a family room and were happy to have two bathrooms and generally a spacious room - no complaints. The room attendant was great, and the place was quite well cleaned and freshened daily. Dust in the wardrobes and on the shelves though so after initial unpacking some of our clothes were already dirty. The air con was powerful, essential, and very loud! similar to a hoover on full.

Food - average fayre - rice, pasta and selection of salads at lunch and dinner - very similar each time. So many cakes and weird jellies but nothing identified even when tasted. there were always queue's for the drinks and they regularly ran out of glasses which were indeed just rinsed and not the cleanest, which was quite off putting. On a plus side, the draft beer was great. We tried the Italian a la carte and were very disappointed. We had to wait ages for the food - we were advised that the bolognaise sauce had no meat - the kitchen had run out - and a margarita pizza brought to our son was garnished with sachets of tomato ketchup - the food was worse than the self serve buffet.
The children's area in the restaurant resembled a Romanian orphanage with wooden seats and a very sticky floor. There was a strong small of bleach, and the food on offer was bland and again unidentifiable apart from the chicken nuggets which were very similar to the fish nuggets and on offer every day.
We enjoyed watching the birds diving into the food cabinet in the Star Fish bar to get some cake - why are there no covers or sliding doors?

Pools - a positive point is the large number of pools so you can always find quieter, smaller area's which are safer and more relaxing. The larger pools are noisy and few people seem to use the nearby loos, although they are drinking all day. Our 5 year old son had an accident on the water slide and no one came to help although he was screaming and bleeding from his mouth.

Beach - indeed a rocky, gravelly experience. Beds and windbreaks all a bit broken and you definitely need some footwear for the sea as the rocks are sharp. We visited daily though to escape the loud music by the pools and to see the fish - best bit of the holiday - amazing.

Animation - No one speaks English even though the number of British guests is quite high. The kids club was popular with my two boys but I soon realised this was because they were often let loose in the play area to do as they wished unsupervised. I found glass in the sandy playground and a little girl cut her foot while were there from glass by the pool.

We used the tennis courts - the worst I have ever seen - a sandy surface which sent the ball in all directions but at least it was something else to do in a resort which is really hotel based and without areas of interest nearby.

We have stayed in Egypt before and paid less for a better quality Hotel. We would return to the country but one week would be enough in this type of resort.

Just got back a couple days ago and wish we could go back. The staff are always so helpful especially Hani on reception, the hotel taxi man, the guys in the shop and our room man. But want to say extra special thanks to Hani and Ahmed at the starfish bar and Muhammad at the pool. There are plenty of pools depending on how you feel, quiet ones and busy ones. Only problem is that although there are loads of sunbeds by 8am they all have towels on but if you don't feel like getting up to put towels out tip the pool boy. The food was ok I am a fussy eater and I managed to eat. The Italian and Mexican restaurants were great. We did not try the Indian but were told it too was good, the lebaneze was awful but if you like liver and not chicken you may like it. The spa is worth a visit. Would I go back? Hell yes in a heartbeat and would recommend this hotel. It is not too big but plenty to do and not far from shops etc. The beach was great for snorkeling and the fish amazing. Can't say enough about what a great time we had.

My sister, daughter and I stayed at rehana sharm hotel from 4th August - 18th August. We had a great holiday. The hotel is really big and the gardens were very well maintained. Out room was fantastic, immaculate and cleaned daily. This is a really loud hotel, music goes on around the resort at 7 am and is constant until 7pm. We initially booked this as the reviews mentioned entertainment, but we were disgusted by the animation team. They are totally uninterested in the british tourists, there wasnt one who spoke English well. I'd agree with many reviews here about the resort being full of Russians who are incredibly rude. Second week was better as more brits arrived yet the animation team were still rubbish! The worst thing was the music they played around the pool. Dirty gangster rap was played with more swear rude words than I could count. This is a family resort and I complained on several occasions that the music was inappropriate to play around the pool. One of the team said she'd turn it off after they'd finished the Olympic games they were running! My daughter doesn't hear those kind of words indoors so was so annoyed they thought it was acceptable. This is the problem with the language barrier!
The food is repetitive, and there are no signs stating what it is but we found something to eat every day.
Entertainment in general was appalling! Evening entertainment was in the ampiyheatre and no drinks are allowed! Shocking quality too!
The staff at the hotel are fantastic and especially if you use manners, we were treated so well.
Overall, hotel is lovely, food average, device fantastic, animation team absolutely shocking. I'd say that was the only downside to our holiday.
