A hotel built in style of an old monastery. Situated in the small quiet town of Berovo in the south eastern Macedonia. We came for the nature of the soft hills to start our round trip visiting the natural beauties of Macedonia. We booked the hotel in February 2014 for our trip in Juky - yet the offered us a room less good than we could have expected. Upon noting that we got a room better placed, but not the best in our category. The hotel was tang in a large party for one night (arriving at 20:30 and leaving at 8:00) the next day and they were almost completely booked - for one night. Even that we had booked for three nights well in advance they got served better! We did not really get that idea! Saying that we got served really well at the hotel. The room was bit cramped due to the large sofa and the double bed. We got a balcony in front of the next rooms window - glad we did not get that one. The breakfast and dinner served was good but served a bit to the different waiters abilities. A bit of teaching would be fine. The main part of the staff were good at English and the service was fine. The walking paths (that we came for) around the hotel was marked either very well or not at all. Finding the start of them was impossible unless pointed out by locals - The track that we did go was pretty nice and really a good warm up for the holidays.
