Villa Lucija was absolutely perfect. In late January, a friend and I were the only residents of the hotel and were able to have entire floors to ourselves, including private double rooms with balconies overlooking the lake and bathrooms as well as kitchens. We arrived in Ohrid at night, and it was amazing to wake up and look out the windows at the lake and mountains. The hotel is right in the center of town, but it is incredibly serene and the only noise you hear is the lapping of waves on the shore. Room decor was tasteful and beds were quite comfortable. We each paid 15 euro/night for our own double rooms.
Negatives: bathroom on my floor was very small and old-style but fine to use. There was no central heating and the house was very cold, but we were provided with space heaters which heated up the individual rooms effectively. There was minimum service--it was pretty hard to track Lucija down, so not for those needing hand-holding, and no breakfast, etc. She said there was internet, but it either didn't exist or didn't work at all. However, some restaurants around the amphitheater had free wireless.
Other tips: was a 75 MKD taxi from the Ohrid bus station and walkable to everything in the old town.
