Well, we just stumbled onto this place, but ended up making memories. We were just walking along and started to remark at the different types of fruit trees on the properties when a man started telling us about them, and the differnet types of foods and preparations they make with them. We saw that he had an attractions stand with different island excursions and got to talking. Two days later he and his friend took us on a boat ride to fish, snorkel, and up to a small Honduran village where a very nice woman cooked us an awesome beef stew in her home with all the trimmings; plaintains, rice and beans, lemonade, potato salad, and then for desert homemade key lime pie. Super good and super authentic. The price was reasonable for the 6 hour excursion and we really saw the island through local eyes. Ronnie, Forrest, and Homer were great and always accommodated our questions with long stories of the island.
