Well, we just stumbled onto this place, but ended up making memories. We were just walking along and started to remark at the different types of fruit trees on the properties when a man started telling us about them, and the differnet types of foods and preparations they make with them. We saw that he had an attractions stand with different island excursions and got to talking. Two days later he and his friend took us on a boat ride to fish, snorkel, and up to a small Honduran village where a very nice woman cooked us an awesome beef stew in her home with all the trimmings; plaintains, rice and beans, lemonade, potato salad, and then for desert homemade key lime pie. Super good and super authentic. The price was reasonable for the 6 hour excursion and we really saw the island through local eyes. Ronnie, Forrest, and Homer were great and always accommodated our questions with long stories of the island.

I struggled between 3 and 4 stars. The food was good, location was great... The chef picked his nose while talking to us and I watched a booger fall to the ground. I can't quite shake the image even though that was at the end of our good experience.

Went to Ronny's the last night of our stay in Roatan and had a good time. The food was good and Roland the manager was great. It is all the way at the west end of West End at the end of the dirt road. They had a beach bonfire going and we struck up a conversation with a local Divemaster - Patrick - who I wish we would have connected with earlier in our trip. Overall a good time and good value.

You have to stop by Ronny's on your trip to Roatan. Food is great and the beer is cold! You sit under palapa's with your feet in the sand. The water's right in front of you. Ronnie and Roland are very friendly and very funny. You are guaranteed a great time!

This is an excellent restaurant to spend some time and relax. It is located right on the beach. The floors are sand with wooden tables and chairs under thatched roof umbrellas. Roland our waiter was very attentive. They have a varied menu rich with seafood. I had the catch of the day which was grilled tuna. It came with veggies and potatoes for $12.95. They had varied mixed drinks and beers. The rum punch was delicious and only $3.15. The beach in front of the restaurant is beautiful. Bring your swimsuit and enjoy it. They have free wifi and clean bathrooms. It's a nice place to take a break. Tell Roland that I said Hi!
